Rockets get double digit lead early but LA makes their run as usual. Houston makes some clutch free throws to seal it.

I'd say we lose tonight in a close one 102-100 and then we beat them handily in game two. If we split there then we have a shot at the series. Will be interesting to see how the refs call the game for Shaq and Yao.

God i haven't had this kind of feeling in so long. Waking up knowing there is a playoff game. Basing my whole day around it and not caring about anything else that is happenning tonight....it's like 10 hours away but i don't care....

If Stevie has single digits in turnovers (less than four would be nice... *sigh*), double digits in assists (in regulation that is... not including any overtime minutes), and Yao is on then we win...

If we can make this series interesting I'll be a happy man...

If we win this series no-one will ever, ever hear the end of it from me...

I think the first quarter will be the most important - at least for the Yao vs. Shaq matchup.

If Yao gets 2 pfs in the first and shoots something like 1-3, then we will most likely lose that matchup, and lose the game.

On the other hand, if Yao doesn't get any pfs and shoots something like 4-7, then I'd say we have a good chance of drawing even in that matchup, and also have a 45/55 chance of winning the game.

Yao should avoid foul trouble: If too late to challenge a shot, just let it go and compensate it on the other end of the court.

SF: Better decision making. Avoid unnecessary Tech.

Cato: Know your role.

Cat and JJ: You are good shooters but passing is also important.

Everybody: Ball movement is the key. Keep turnover low.

An OT win.
