    I rarely make predictions, but here goes.

    Tough game on the road against a great, experienced team. A lot of guys with no playoff experience will FEEL it.

    I still think it will be close, but I'm guessing Rockets go down by a nose:

    92-86

    Lakers win game 1.

    Man, I AM PUMPED UP!!!!!!!! [​IMG] I can't stop thinking about the playoffs.

    Rockets are 1-0 all-time vs the Lakers in 7-game series.

    but to use my head,

    Rockets 87
    Lakers 100

    The Rockets core players struggle as they experience playoff style ball for the first time.

    Rockets can win this one if:-
    Yao Ming must not get the fouls trying to make up for others not guarding their man.He must dunk the Ball when he is close to the basket and draw the foul. He must demand the ball more!
    Francis must decide to play his A Game not only will he score 25 but he will involve his team- mates by making many open pass offs for open shots from Mo Tay, Yao,JJ and Cato
    Mobley will know that many eyes are upon him and his defence on Koby must be relentless. JJ and Mobes must hit the open threes.
    Nachbar and Padget must get playing time so that no player plays too many minutes.
    Cato must be tough, this is the Big Time!
    Mark Jackson must remembver that he is a PLAYMAKER
    and that he needs to set his team-mates up in good position to make shots.
    The Rockets should hold something back for the fourth quarter, as its here where the Lakers can do their damage.

    I am going to be realistic here..

    There is no way that rockets would lose. I tried, but I can not think of any reason that the Roxs should lose to the Lakers..

    Then, lose game 3, win game 4, WIN game 5, and win @ home in game 6.

    man feels good to have playoff basketball again for the Rockets :)

    first games going to be a tough one with the LA crowd, the fact that we're playing a much more experienced team with rings already and for the most part (cagey) veterans.

    going to be realistic and expect a game 1 letdown, but always hoping for an upset

    ;)
