Despite all the negatives of the game, the lost shot was 50/50 win lose and that's not bad given they were 4:1 odds tonight.

We're not going to pull the next game out. L.A. sleep-walked right into this series, and now they've been given a wake-up call, unfortunately their wake-up call STILL ended in a Laker win.

Yes, I'm just a teensy bit frustrated that Yao couldn't get in position for a board with 17s left in the god damn game.

It's YAO's fault, I don't know what he was doing over there, watching the game?

I also sure as hell hope we win on Monday. If we could come back from LA with a split, and the loss being a very close game, our confidence would be quite high, as opposed to coming down 0-2 with 2 close losses where the confidence wouldn't be so high.

I'm an Astros fan (and was an Oilers fan, so maybe I'm a glutton for playoff punishment), and they've won less series than the Cubs ;)

All we can hope for is that all the bugs are out and they come out fighting Monday night. No more lameduck efforts to start the game.

people who blame yoa and JJ for the loss need to wake up. LOOK AT THE TURNOVERS; thats why we lost.

Jimmy didn't choke, he missed a 3 at the buzzer, big difference. Most good players are STILL going to miss more attempted game-winning shots than they're going to hit.

We can't blame this loss on Yao.. granted, he could have had better positioning, he threw himself out there tonight and there were a variety of other opportunities we could have taken advantage of...

I just wish we would have won..

It would have been so nice, but hopefully now the Rockets are more pumped to beat the Lakers!

the rockets had a wide open shot at the buzzer. they could have very easily won the game despite having all those turnovers.

Regardless it was one hell of a game. There is nothing like watching a rockets playoff game. The guys settled down and played their heart out. We are taking game 2!

Yao and JJ should take the blame, we turned over the ball too many, that's ture, but that's early in the game, the outcome was decided in fourth quarter.

The Lakers are playoff tested, the Rox are not. very few pople expected this game to go down to the wire. If the Rox can cut down the turnovers and play good D, they will in position to win game 2.
