WOW! 53 points on 34% shooting. Thank God for free throws. We definitely need to pick it up in the 2nd half or this lead is going to go bye bye.

12 out of 13 free throws made for Yao Ming in 1H.....

Man, look likes his lament/complaint about unfair officiating to the media in a subtle way worked at least for this game.....and without NBA penalty !!!

Go Go Go Big Yao........break your career high free throw attempts (20) and free throws made (18) all at one go tonight. :D

Yao with only 3 jumpshots so far. That's why he's getting to the line. He's much more aggressive today. He better keep this up in the 2nd half if Kobe stays hot.

good point, I have a feeling sometimes like Mac does not take things that serious, he has all the tools and everyone knows he could just play the same as Kobe

We would've beaten NO if Yao got same officiating.

kobe's a class level above tmac in SCORING. what's wrong w/ that? kobe's a class or 2 better than EVERYONE offensively. he's prollie the 2nd best offensive player in the history of the league after jordan.

but tmac's a class above him in passing. 5 dimes. mac's on his way to 10+ assists while still scoring 16 pts.

I'd like to see more T-Mac/J-Ho pick and pop plays (J-Ho ends up with an open jumper). They had that play down to a science two years ago because of their experience together with the Magic. It worked against Dallas all the time.

Well, I love Tmac but you get to believe that Kobe's J is much better than Tmac. Tmac's J is so inconsistent... But on the other hand, he did a much better job assisting...

Can we put a rest to this notion that Kirk Snyder is a "very good" defender? He tries hard, and he'll come up with some energy plays, but he seems to get lit up all the time by the guy he's guarding. I don't know. Maybe he's just really, really unlucky.

No, we're still a game behind in the loss column.

Try last 5 games. He was 10-35 the previous five coming into this one. And the slump continues.

we would've beaten a few more teams if refs would call a fair game.

He's a good defender just not a great defender. He can't gaurd Kobe. No way. Shane Battier and TMAC is the best defender on TMAC. Everyone else is too small/too slow to guard him.
