Yao should take at least 20 shots tonight, he definitely owns brown 1 on 1

    nice press by JVG.

is that the first time we've pressed all year? JVG never likes to extend his defense.

Walton bricks a 3 because of T-Mac's long arms

Good start boys! 31 points in a quarter shows they can't stop T-Mac or Yao.

WHo's he guarding? Help defense on anyone not named Kobe is a dangerous game to play with well...Kobe.

NIce 1st quarter though, hope we keep this going.

mac w/ ANOTHER double digit 1st quarter scoring.

again that 3 assists is what separates him from kobe.

Forgot to add that Yao had 12 :)

Snyder on Kobe... uh oh. I just don't feel that confident in his D - I rather either Battier or McGrady on him.

Was good to see Rafer attack the rim and dish the ball off to Yao for the slam.

Good start by the team, just need to keep the pressure on the lakers.

Good first quarter overall for the team. Yao, McGrady playing to their averages, Rafer playing better than his average (as in stepping up)...hopefully this lasts the whole game and we continue to keep Mr. Bryant in 'check' (i.e. 40 points on 40 shots) and we're golden.

Hopefully Battier and Howard or someone else will step up offensively also. I would like to see Shane have one of those 4 or 5 threes made type of game off of McGrady's dribble-penetration and dish routine.

Hopefully we'll weather the storm when they make a run in the second.

Oh, and snyder can't hold Kobe one-on-one, come on JVG! The only guys that bother Kobe are those with long arms.

As long as the Rox keep Lamar Odom and Luke Walton down defensively and never drop their intenstiy, I have good feelings about this game.

That said, it's good that we have an outstanding defender in Battier, and a person who can be an outstanding defender if he wants to be in T-Mac.

Much as I loved JL3's preformance last game, I think find him toom uch of an unproven commodity in this situation :/
