I think they were playing over their heads for a bit there in part because Reddick is so intense.
The expectations rose and now regression to the mean is happening a bit. It's a long season.

How do you play no defense and still cry to the ref almost every defensive possession?

on offense, you so much as brush him and he doesn’t get a call, he’s b*tching or pointing at the ref running his mouth

if I was a ref, at some point you gotta be like

man this is revisionist history. JO was playing great, he just stopped hitting his jumpers. The defense was there. Rocket just choked crazy leads.

 

A miserable -8 on 5-10 shooting. TRADE INCOMING.

 

Rockets turned Luka into

 

Theory: I think Okogie played best when he knew he was going to play a lot. Most players do. With Eason and DFS back, the steady minutes are not there anymore and he is pressing a bit. Josh also got fouled a number of times tonight and the refs looked right through him like he wasn't there.

 

Even then, still shooting 41% on threes which is much more than you could have expected from him

 

The four power forward one small forward seems more effective than the two center two power forward one small forward lineup in a small sample size

Nice balanced scoring but this “offensive scheme” is non existent. Either trade for a vet PG or start Reed.
