That my friend is the barometer that separates us from being a good team to a potentially great team.

Agreed. Jackson certainly is not the answer at point, but I prefer him handling the rock when bringing the ball up so far. Even running fast breaks. He is just more fundamentally sound.

I hope the Rockets go from wanting to play well and beat teams like LA, to wanting to BE the team that OTHER teams wake up for. If we can consistently play like we are today, we'd be so much better off. It's a state of mind thing, I'm convinced.

Good Defense but the Rockets are playing trashy offense right now.

I wish Yao would shoot those wide open shots. He is up high no one near him but instead of shooting he holds it until a guard comes and gets the ball.

Lakers are on a roll right now. Yao is putting up some ugly shots.

Kobe going off now. Mobley is shooting badly. Yao trying some horrid shots down on the low post. Pick and roll.

Uh oh, we stopped running the high pick n' roll through Yao.

Kobe's wife and daughter showed up for the game...more inspiration for him to go off the chains in the second half. Ugh.

I dont understand why the Rockets go away from what made them successful in the first half . PICK 'N ROLL!

Kobe is turning into Michael Jordan. Rocketing going isolation too. This is a bad combo.

Kobe going off right now. We got a small backcourt so he can pretty much shoot up face to face whenever he wants especially since he's got such a good vertical. Ah well. Rockets still gotta play their game and play their style, and most of all continue to make buckets, and cut back on turnovers. I'd be more content with keeping Shaq as the one taking shots since we can foul him and take him to the FT line instead of letting everyone else on the Lakers getting involved. Weeeeeeeeee beers kicking in.

Here comes frustration...I can see it in their faces already.

The first half is a demonstration that the team as-is are capable of doing great things. Perhaps like some have said all we need is more time and more patience for things to jell.

TWICE that has happened. Once with Cato in the first and now with Taylor. These guys have no business bringing the ball up!!!!!

Argh everyone playing like airheads. Play smart ball and cut back on the turnovers and we'd have 6 more shots this quarter.
