The Rockets just need to maintain a lead before Steve and JJ come back.

I'm becoming a postwhore right now. Add insult to injury with that Pike layup is the following foul that put them over the limit. That really hurt. To make it worse, we have Moochie, Cato, MoT, Pike, and Mobley out there against 4 of their 5 starters. Payton would probably be out there except it looks like his knee, ankle, or foot is being treated off court.

Come on. Let's get back to the pick and roll with Yao, Steve, and Cuttino. Yao sets the freaking best picks. He frees up everyone he picks for.

You know Boki would have slammed that.

Man these guys on ESPN suck. They can't seem to comprehend the fact that we have Mo Taylor on our team. They keep calling him Jim Jackson. (ESPN has the game over seas)

Ouch, did anyone hear Doc Rivers chuckle bitterly that if he'd still be in Orlando if Shaq was there. The other commentator just let it go.

Can anyone say . . . AWKWARD MOMENT.

Not as awkward as that lady trying to bait Jerry West into commenting on Kobe's free agent status this offseason.

Man there is no stopping Shaq when he gets in thee deep. We are fouling shaq about 90% of the time he has the ball in his hands.

At the rate we're fouling Shaq all of our frontcourt may foul out by the 3rd quarter. We might need Amaechi to pull a Charles Jones and just be out there to foul Shaq. I remember he did that so well in the 95 Finals against the Magic :D

Woo we're running the high pick n' roll with Yao around the perimeter and it's working beautifully. Alton Ford is out there. I guess he's the next guy to take fouls for guarding Shaq.

Yao is killing Shaq...using his SIZE to his advantage. Like I said on another post sometime ago, he should be murdering everyone down low. So he can't bang he can still shoot over them.

    airball Yao.

But the rocket's defense is doing a great job. Two TO's in a row for the Lakers.

The guys giving the PBP on TV really suck. They are so clueless on the players etc.

I don't know if it is the ABC guys i am listening to or the ESPN crew. Either way, they suck.

Yao's best half in his entire NBA career so far. Putting up that number purely against Shaq is remarkable. This should give his confidence a big boost.

Wow, what a game! Steve with the follow up dunk!

I find it interesting that JJ is running the point a very large portion of the time, and Steve is looking like the 2 guard.

    Interesting. :D
