Seriously, is T-Mac going to make game-winning shots a casual thing now? He's scaring me...I'm starting to expect him to make shots in those situations, even if it's a half-court three while falling out of bounds with five players on him.

    I'm speechless

76-74. That's pretty brutal. But we got the win which is all that really matters. It's pretty much the difference between Yao and T-mac. The team (as currently constituted) will play ugly if we're missing one of our "Big 2", but Tracy has an ability to finish that Yao just doesn't.

Lets hope we can continue with the ugly wins while Yao is out.

The great thing about this win is that the Lakers came in with a bit of a winning streak. Their fans actually expected the lakers to beat us quite easily. They are even referring to themselves as a "legitimate" elite team.

    Wuhahahahahahahahah. Suckers.

If we could beat you without Yao, imagine the slaughter if we gave Kobe both barrels. Great game.

No, it's because Yao has a great backup, and T-Mac doesn't.

just got back to sd. it was great to be there for this game. we got heckled a little bit before the start of the game because we came decked out in rockets gear. of course we were going nuts during the third quarter though. it was pretty cool being the only guys there standing up and yelling every time wesley or head hit a three. and at the end after tmac's layup, we went crazy. i'm sure we ticked off all the laker fans around us. anyways, here are a few pics from the game

I sat in Section 112 in Row 7... Got many mean mugs for my heckling. When fans shouted D-Fence, I shouted T-Mac!

Best line I was proud of...when Luke Walton tried to drive inside and settled for a layup, I shouted, "Throw it down, Big Man!" in r****ded giant voice... On the next play he went into the paint and got mugged by Rockets player while throwing some elbows.

Overall, great game to piss of people. Money well spent on behalf of whoever bought the ticket.....

Nice win! I missed all but the last minute... tuned in for the turnover, groaned, then high-fived my wife for the T-Mac left-handed layup.

Looking at the line, Head keeps getting better! Give that kid 35 minutes a game and see what he can do, Stewie!

Oh yes- Kobe better than T-Mac? Please.

"I'm sorry. Even though I'm a big rox fans, but there's no doubt that Kobe is better than Tmac.
And talk about last shot, there's no doubt that most people will pick Kobe to shoot it."

IMHO T-Mac has a much better chance at a championship in the future than Kobe has for another championship. I respect Kobe's game, and he may be the best player in the league. Mr. Kobe Bryant has a "showboat attitude" - see him knock the ball out of bounds-out of TMac's hands after the play was over. T-Mac was not even trying to defend the ball as it was not in play. Kobe has no class.

Kobe never showed any remorse at all during the Colorado Rape trial....Jerk.

Kobe may be the best player in the NBA though.......

Awesome win and perfect capper to the road trip!

I hope we can keep this momentum up at the Mausoleum, I mean Toyota Center.

Swift is better than Weatherspoon. And Swift is athletic..something we need. I think he'll improve.

From what I saw last night, T-Mac is a better passer than kobe. Kobe only passes when he has a sure assist. T-Mac a lot of times made a nice pass that resulted in another nice pass. Also, he seems to be able to make tougher passes than kobe when driving.

All in all, I would rather have T-Mac that kobe on our team anyday.

I still believe Swift will get better but you can't deny the fact that he was ineffective last night.

McGrady would have ten assists a night EASY if our role players can knock down shots. And no, I am NOT exaggerating, because he's a very willing passer and has a knack for finding open players, which sadly means that RyBo will be getting 'his' share of shots as long as teams leave him open.

T-Mac is the complete package, you can't honestly say that about Kobe.

Of all the players in the league, the most 'complete' well-rounded players are T-Mac and KG.

I'm glad that McGrady recognized that the only Laker big man was Kwame Brown. The guy did nothing to stop McGrady from driving to the hoop for that final shot. He just kinda stood there and watched. We can b**** about Swift, but he's a bargain compared to Kwame.

Tmac is my favorite player and has always been (even in the magic days). I've always thought of Kobe and Tmac to be on an unparallel level from the rest of the league (because of their size and amazing skill and athleticism)

To say Tmac is more "complete" than KOBE hands down is ludacris at best. Forget about all the knocks on Kobe's rep and look at it objectively: They are both unbelievably talented and equally dominant in their respect.

It's hard to really say which one has the overall edge because they are about the closest counterparts there are in the NBA currently.
