I agree you have to know that YAO has been palying well if he is getting the ESPN crew to respect his effort, because usually they never give him any.

Anyone paid attention to the YOUNG LA players tonight? It really surprised me to see P. Jackson give a lot of minutes to the young players, and that seem to paid off when Bryant was out due to surgery.

    Where is our young player?

Yao picked up his fifth foul in the first overtime, and later complained about the officiating after getting to the free throw line six times in the game.

"They (the referees) were letting their big guys keep pushing me. I would say Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum fouled me 10 times. That's not fair," he said.

"I know I'm big, but that's not my fault. They let them have two hands pushing on my back and keep pushing while I'm shooting the ball. I wish the league or somebody can help with this and look at the film. They don't let me do that, so why do they let them do it?"

Yao finally speak up for himself.

JVG (and the coach group) definitely seemed lost at the end of the 4th quarter (1 stupid foul and 1 stupid timeout). I don't think we can blame YAO for anything. Without his clutch plays (1 block and 1 turnaround), we would have lost the game at the end of 4th quarter. Alston seemed drunk on the court. Every time when Park pushed pressure on him, he just couldn't handle the ball well.

Actually that 'block' was a goal tend. The ball bounced off the backboard and toward the hoop when Yao slapped it. And JVG needs to remind his team to not foul when there less than a minute left in the game, just play some good defense. The Rockets just gave this game away.

JVG was also outcoached tonight, didn't use his bench correctly. Very poor cominations of players out on the court.

It's looks like Hakeem all over again when he was dominating teams, posting big numbers and he had no one backing him up.

T-mac get on the court soon. Yao needs you to close the 4th quarter.

We can' trust Rafer to take care of the ball or shoot he ball. The problem is, he doesn't have competition for the pg spot so by default he starts and plays heavy minutes.

Yao, the next guy who gets away with a legitimate non-call, just level the mf...

    Let me recap this game:

    1. ROX had the history of heartbreaking stupid lost no matter who's on the team, Yao, Tmac, Francis, and so on...

    2. JVD is outcoached many many times, and don't seem to know what he's doing when the pressure is on.

    3. Alston should be bench, stupid 3 point shot, stupid turnover.

    4. Kobe is Kobe.

No matter what you should credit Yao for that block. Just like you can't credit Yao for the no call on his clutch shot.

Our No.1 superstar didn't play, we almost won these two games, I still have faith, although three streak L make me frustrating.
Yao has made progress game after game, he is 26, he isn't the God, but he will be better and we will get the titles with him.
All I care about is T-Mac, how soon will he be back, will the back problem forever with him. Without T-Mac(or somebody at his level), only Yao can't win the title.

Thinking about it more carefully again, we deserved to lose this game.

Down 20, and let them come back, not one time, but million times already, you think they know?

Yao's block on Walton should be goal tending, and that should end it there.

I still stick with JVG, we are losing one of our main players here, it is not a complete Rox team without T-Mac

Don't talk to these type of Rox Fan, even if Yao scored 100 points but lose , they will still think yao is not dominant ehough, just leave them alone n hope the Rox will get the next game

last year, TMAC beat KOBE at the last clutch shot ! :D

KOBE missed two clutch shots today. ROX had plenty of chances to win the last games. I blamed the two losts on JVG.
