Anyone thinks that Rick Adelman would be a good coach for Rockets? Brown would just be another coming of JVG. Also, Brown would probably trade away all the players he doesn't like (it be bad if he doesnt like Yao) and try out 30 different starting lineups. Adelman, anyone???

Exactly. Yao gets good scores nights in and out only because of his height and incredible soft touch, not because we have good offense around him. We need a much better PG and Head is clearly not the answer. If Tmac goes down again, I say we tank, or fire JVG... Hate to say that, but even if we don't, we still will, either way.

You don't get better by parking your ass on the bench when your team is up by 20 points. You throw them out there and hope that they can at least keep the lead.

He is a proven winner. T hough it is always a short term deal. But I take that over the heart breaking losses when we are up 20+.

At this rate I might not make 30 watching all these Houston teams just collapse at the end of the games .... Astros...Texans .. Rockets ..

Can Vince Young play point? He is CLUTCH!!!

Sorry, don't buy it. VSpan would have broken down Parker with the dribble and given us the penetration we needed. Rafer couldn't even get us into the offense in the 2nd half and then Head is running around trying to dribble and penetrate. That was a horrible display. If the defense takes away Head's jump shot (which the Lakers effectively did tonite with Kobe), then you have to have a penetrator playmaker on the floor. TMac was out and Rafer was struggling against a quicker Smush Parker. I think VSpan could have won this game for us. Rafer had 7 turnovers and shot about 35% from the floor.

no worries, we will be ok this season. Not contending though. 2nd round playoff at best, most likely first round tough out

When Rafer is dribbling down the filed I get a feeling like he has a burning match up his butt and he is just running with no idea what he is doing but he just wants to do something.

Rafer is playing way too many minutes, its time to give Lucas some time at the point.

That was when the Lakers bench was out for garbage time and we were down by 27.

I think laker is just a better team. They made playoff last season and nearly beat sun. Last two games rockets make a lots of adjustments and I think its more alive than a week ago although at that time rockets enjoy some hype on stats.

Yao just make another step up. Head must learned some valuable thing. Wells is out of coma. Every bench get some experience. Rockets is bond to playoff, at that time I think rockets will be a scary team even with current roatation(of course Yao must be health).

But was it not for their play against the Lakers' bench that we actually got back into a shot at winning?

I'm not saying they're all world players. But at least give them some kind of credit--those guys can play. Otherwise, why put them on the roster? Van Gundy, unfortunately, will probably only go that deep into his bench if Yao goes down with an injury like last year (knocks on wood)

That's exactly what I was thinking about!

This is a back-to-back game, and all the starters played to the last minutes last night. Why not give bench player some minutes and rest the starters???

Now I am worrying that JVG's going to overplay Yao.

I have a bad feeling, if things go on like this, maybe T-Mac has to be back earlier, and then T-Mac going to get hurt again. And then Yao has to do it all by himself, and he's going get hurt. And then everything's going to happen exactly the same way as last season. Except this time we can play the young bench players, they might be our hope next season.

regardless if its preditable or not........yao is gettin 30 and 12 nowadays on a regular guys........so stay with it and feed him.......it brought 35 and 15

why the hell was van gundy going with the high pick and roll with yao and sucker alston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it obviously sadly wasn't workin and rafe just can't make the right decisions in a pick and roll like t mac does.....so stop freakin runnnin it, till t mac gets back

if i see another pick and roll where rafer rolls and takes a circus shot over 3 lakers when the corner 3 is wide open i am gonna kill myself

out of the entire bench, we only used Mutombo (40yrs), Bonzi (still out of shape) and JHoward. On a back to back senario shuoldn't the youngsters play

I cant believe some yall blame Yao not being mentally strong tonite. The tall dude was doing everything and delivered down the strech. He was just winded at the end, and teammates werent helping either. The spacing was poor, and the rest of guys just stand watching him get crowded. What more does Yao need to do?
