Absolutely correct! Lakers 32 free throws... Rockets... 11??

I would add bonehead turnovers that allowed the Lakers to catch up as well.

I dunno what more can you expect from Yao when he gets 35/15/8 on a back to back game. Kobe had ALOT of help when it was crunch time. Smush Parker stepped up and made a couple big shots, and same with Brian Cook, Huge 3 pointer in OT. Not only that Kobe also got WAY MORE CALLS than Yao. Did you see the foul on Yao at the end of the first OT? What did Yao have, Alston and Head committing turnovers and dump him the ball with 6-8 secs left on the shot clock? How do you expect him to get off a decent shot with people fronting him, and no respect or calls from the refs. I admit Kobe is probably one of the best players, and especially during clutch times. However, Kobe also has great help from teammates, superstar calls from the refs, and PJ as a coach.

There is always 1 in the dog house of JVG. Since Bonzi is out now, someone has to go in. Sorry Bill. Maybe you need to call up JVG and say you are ready to make peace. Or maybe Rafer should have some mystery injury.

Alston is not a starter PG.

Head is not a PG, but a good SG.

No one in this team, except Tracy, can feed Yao creatively. We need get a starter PG to make Yao more effectively. Currently, his offensive is very predictable and static since no one can pass to him creatively.

    Batter is a keeper.

    Wells is becoming better.

Agree for the most part. But to be fair, Alston needs to share some blame. Actually he deserves 60% of the blame.

I guess you forgot the part about his team carrying the load while he struggled until that last moment.

    What did Yao's teammates do?

I wont even comment on Rafer.

this is the perfect storm of suckness.

we bring in snyder to add some penetration when tmac is out.
and we bring in bonzi to be the 3rd option (2nd when tmac is out)

now all THREE of them are effectively out, its last year all over again, kill me now

A tough loss again. In a word, the difference in coaching skill between two teams is huge. As long as Rockets' offense and defense can't be well balanced, they will never be a championship contender.

V-span's just not very good right now. What's with all the complaints about his lack of playing time? We'd have lost even worse if he played.

When Rafer Alston shoots the ball 22 times, you know something's wrong with your team.

    twen....ty.....two.....ti....mes......oh noes.

Please realize that players otherthan Tmac and Yao are not scrubs.

Would you trade those scrubs for Lakers scrubs(players except Kobe and Odom)?

But you're right, JVG is terrible down the stretch.
