Its a bad bad bad bad situation... no other player is as important (especially in what has become a quick-man's game).

Is it me or does Houston blow too many double digit lead?

That's the third game I watched this season that they blow double digit lead.

hard to make a play when your two guards keep coughing the ball up.
Head and alston were the best Laker players tonight.

With alston the point guard, no way to beat a good team (top team) like LA.

this one's on jvg. as bad as rafer played tonight, any other coach would have made some change. instead jvg left him in, almost like he was punishing him and making him endure his horrible game.

oh man i havent hated kobe so much as today. just watchin him whine and whine for every single call is annoying.

note to kobe: there's legal ways of defending people without fouling.

Hilarious to see Nick tip his hat off to Kobe on a night Rockets lost a heartbreaker on the *official* Rockets fans BBS.

    Free throws:

    Rockets 9-11
    Lakers 22-32 (Kobe 14-16)

    'Nuff said.

Well, there's one positive, the collapse of a large lead took 10 minutes longer than usual.

    Progress.

If our two dumbass guards didn't keep turning the ball over, Yao would have had more opportunities to make the shots we needed.

JVG is going to be in agony over this game. And I hope he feels it hard.

Tiger, I have to disagree (to a limited extent). I think he faded away slowly, but we wouldn't have made it to the overtimes without his play.

However, you are right, he wasn't a factor when it came down to it finally. Hopefully he'll get there. These losses have got to be some of the toughest and most bitter lessons he'll learn in his career.
