well, my prediction right when Tmac went down was Tmac will be out for the 1st lakers game then Warriors then he will be back for the 2nd Lakers game and show Kobe who's boss. but yesterday, Worrell said that the earliest we can get the man back is Wednesday.

I still think that they said that to get the Lakers comfortable then surprise them with Tmac.

 

well, if u want Bonzi to score 10+, u need to put the ball in his hand. u need to draw a couple plays for him. I really want ot see him posting up or taking defenders one on one. Bonzi is a great talent, we need to utilize him for the benefit of the team.

where are the 500 posts we used to see in the morning of a game day? I guess all the bandwagoners left.

i really hope bonzi can play a significant amount of minutes this game.

Plus if Bonzi had of been integrated into the lineup earlier, he'd of been able to step right into the big black hole TMac has left, and produce straight up.

Asking him to do so now, at a minutes notice, is too tough an ask.

Has any station confirmed mcgrady's status? the game notes released by the rockets show tmac listed as a probable starter (the other ones against la and gsw did not)

and la fans anyone know where the rockets are staying over the weekend? would love to go to the hotel and try to meet and greet

Blinebury said today morning that T-mac will likely be out. Didn't someone report in another thread that McGrady will only be back next week?

 

Rockets win 96-93. The Rockets had their chances the last two games, but they blew them. We'll be back on the winning track tonight.

 

This game is on ESPN, Yao knows that so many guys doubted him a lot, he is gonna show his strength, but since he played 41mins last night, I'm afraid he is too tired to do so.
Somebody needs to step up, Rox must do a good defence job, otherwise, it's gonna be a blowout L.

 

time for my usual pessimistic prediction:

Fakers D collapses on the big man, the big man is under a lot of pressure since it's on ESPN, that's not mentioning the fatigue caused by playing 41 minutes in the first game of a back to back. Yao gets triple teamed, kicks outside --> bricks. Fakers blow us out.

now if Tmac surprises us and plays (very unlikely after Worrell's comments) or Bouncy steps up and JVG puts the ball in his hand and draws some plays for him, it's a different story.

P.S: I like to predict negative stuff because everytime I say predict a win, we lose. so hopefully, it goes the other way too.

tough game tonight. Everybody tired. I dont think we can win but I keep slight hope. YAO may not have a great night. Battier needs shoot the ball more.

 

I think we may be running into a buzz saw tonight. LA is great at home, the Rockets are very tired, especially Yao. This could be like the Phoenix game, without T-Mac.
