Alston's man falls down and he just stays floating up top the arc dribbling away in place.

Dude, it was a goal tend. IT wasn't close. Stop being blind.

And JVG, please stop screaming at poor offensive execution. It's your fault. You preach D, D, D, D, D - acquire players to fit your schemes - and this is what results. He wants to take credit for the good D, but blame the poor O on the players.

JVG's attitude is ok sometimes, but his inability to link poor offense with his own disregard for it is embarrassing.

Yes... and tonight's game simply represents a microcosm of the problems the Rockets will have for the rest of their time (as built) if they don't have #1 handling the ball in crunch time, and setting up his teammates, and playing tough D.

excellent time to go to a zone, when we're up 3 and brian cook is on the floor. genius. i could have never predicted that happening.

Half the fans here clamor for zones when the Rockets D gets exposed man-on-man (like it did in the last game vs. the Lakers).

If teams can shoot the ball... they can beat the zone.

Cook always burns us. Then next time I watch the Lakers, I expect him to be great. But he's not. He's mediocre. Very likely because he's a mediocre player. Just not against us.

It's possibly because we don't bother to guard him. SOmething to ponder.
