According to some posters (coughAntiSoniccough) Lamar Odom is as talented as Tracy McGrady.

This should be an interesting game.

Artest holds Kobe, hopefully holding him to a 20 point game.
Bynum is overrated, so Yao domination on him.
Like most people have said, getting the boards is going to be hard, but I see the Rockets winning this game. Tracy scores 26, Artest 22, Yao 18.

    102-97

teams haven't been doubling kobe much at all to start the season b/c of the supporting cast. if you saw the denver game, they guarded kobe straight up the entire 4th IN A CLOSE GAME.

so i don't know how well artest will do b/c you need help to contain kobe. hopefully he can do it without much help and force kobe to shoot jumpers.

Close game. Anyway I can live with a L on their court. Shane is key for us to get over Fakers. Hope we can resign Deke and get Shane back on court soon.

The Lakers have only played one game this week and against the clippers...While we had to duke it out with Boston, Portland, and Clippers as well...its going to be tough to win this game...very tough

I wonder why we have such hard schedule to start the season.

    We have

    Phoenix
    San Antoino
    New Orleans

and San Antonio again after Thanksgiving.

Yet in December, we only have three western conference playoff teams on the schedule and one of them is Denver. The others are NO and Utah.

January is little bit harder, we start off against 4 straight games against Eastern playoff teams. But during the course of the month, we only play LA, Detroit, and Philly as the remaining playoff teams.

I notice some of the other teams have tougher finishes than we do, but we've had super tough opening schedule two years in row.

Anyone know of the SopCast channel for this game?

I check myp2p, but they don't seem to have a channel for it...only the Boston v. Detroit game (which will also be good)
