    2 things....

    1) Battier is more important to this team's defense than any of us realized. Maybe he's not a big-stats defender (i.e. lots of blocks and steals), but he keeps the team defensively organized on the court.

    2) Adelman and Rockets management needs to seriously reconsider whether "his offense" is right for the personnel on this team. I just don't see any signs that it's working or will ever work. If Adelman isn't willing to alter his game plan, then he needs to be fired.

    Quit your whining.

Take a look at the first 10 pages of this thread and then see how quickly you "fans" change your attitude.

T-Mac has proven he doesn't care about the preseason. Deal with it.

Yao is currently struggling. Deal with it.

Ron Artest can't expend any energy on offense because he is playing the role of Battier. His efficiency on offense is going to be horrible for a while. Deal with it.

We are in a rough part of a schedule, playing 3 games in 4 days, on of them going into overtime. The Lakers played one game this week, so they are rested.

Shane Battier will come back when he does, so don't make 100 "We need Shane" threads.

OMG...same coaching strategy...they're down...and Adelman rest all their starters. How stupid. Remember early couple games in the season when he had a least one starter out there to initiated the offense ...like he had Yao playing through the 1st quarter??? Why did he stop doing that now???? When you rest all 3 starters...that's like giving up the game right there!! I just hate his coaching strategy.

I believe IT IS RICK ADELMAN that lost this game because when they were up by 16 points...he started resting his players which tells me he has no desire of winning the game. I said this because...let's just instead of up 16pts...they were down by 8pts...would he rest all 3 starters?? HELL NO!! He would have AT LEAST one starter out there to initiate the offense. By resting all 3 tells me he's playing fire and doesn't show the toughness of putting a dagger down someone's throat. It's sicking me watching this game....and i just stopping watching after the 1st half....because i knew Adelman blew it!

rick adelman needs to do some adjusting. it's obvious his offense isn't gonna work with this team.
