people will point out ROn goin 0-5, but look at him bustin his tail trying to guard Kobe. It's Tmac thats the problem, looking about as bad as he did against the Clipps. No passion whatsoever. Terrible TO's especially by Barry and Yao. Poor officiating, namely 2 blown offensive fouls called against Chuck.

Then what's the answer? Tracy is not helping much right now, with Battier helping defending Kobe or Odom, it'd be a much easier game.

I like Tracy, but right now he can't do anything offensively and face it, he's not a good defender, AND he's not 100%.

I don't mind it so much when the rox miss open shots. That comes and goes.

I do mind it when they dribble into 5 defenders, fall down, and turn it over because there is no one to pass to.

I does bother me when they get a double team, pass it to the open guy, but that guys hesitates not knowing what to do with the ball giving the defender time to catch up, leaving 5 on the shot clock causing him to chuck up a contested jumper.

the only reason the rockets are in this game is because the lakers were turning the ball over in the 1st quarter.

TMAC is really not guarding anyone, he should be attacking...he just stands around motionless. Yao is getting knocked around by Lakers front line. Artest is playing defense, but that is. Battier used to do that and hit some 3s. Too many turnovers because are players just dont attack the rim and finish strong.

This team started out strong. It seems they are coming back to reality.

We have a long way to go.

Why is everybody acting like we're down 30?
Reading thru the posts, all I can see is:

    Trade Tmac
    Trade Rafer
    Bench Barry
    Bench Tmac
    Bench Yao
    Bench Artest
    Fire Adelman

WTF is wrong with you guys!?

As great a player Artest is, he doesn't have a high vertical jump, sad to say in that aspect he's only slightly better than Battier.

Considering none of our big three have shown up yet, we are damn lucky to be down by only 2.

Well yes but this is a great defense. Those sometimes are forced shots. I mean they pretty much leave him for 3 and don't allow to drive. And he still doesn't have the right rythm.

I hope TMac will not play this game anymore, he is useless for this team. no defense, no shoot, that's all.

What a stupid coaching strategy. Why the hell you rest all 3 starters and expect to maintain the score and momentum. When your opponents is down and you got them down, you want to *****ng destroyed them. Instead, what did Rick Adelman do?? He gives them life or rather waiting to give them life by resting all the starters...dumb strategy. Now look what happened..? The Lakers came back and with more enthusiasm because you give them life. When someone is down...that's that best way to place a dagger down their throat. It makes me sick watching this game...and makes me sick watching the players like Yao and Artest playing hard to take the lead only to be ruin by stupid coach substitution strategy.

mike Harris for gerald green was one of moreys mistakes. Green could have been our ariza, arizas game has taken a few years to develop. We just needed some more patience with him.

Let us come up with some positive and insightful names for our passionless players and GM's.

I submit, Daryl Moron for leaving us with midgets at the most important positions on the floor in PF and C.

The Big Liability for Yao not being in shape and not being able to blow past a elephant at this point.

Tracy " No Heart " McGrady

Mcgrady: take some theraflu or sudafed and wake up man!
Artest: go back to posting up, stop trying to take Kobe off the dribble.
Yao: play some damn defense! Fight for a board!

Everyone else, do what you've been doing. Except Rafer, please don't shoot anymore.
