Well, that was an eventful half. Sure would be nice if McGrady and Artest gave us anything. If we are getting 20 points from our point guard position we need to win the game.

    Three things from this game:

    1. Our offense looked great before Ariza started screwing things around.
    2. If McGrady can wake up, we will win this game.
    3. I cannot wait till Shane Battier comes back. We're already competing really well against arguably the deepest team in the league (and we did the same with Portland, another really deep team), and it'll only get better once Battier is back.

The only reason everyone is angry is because we were up 14 and they came back to take the lead. Good teams come back. We just need to step it up again and we'll be fine. And even if we lose this game, we're playing a great team.

They're call the game pretty fairly. We're just a little slower and less athletic. We have to play smarter

not blaming refs just stating facts.........17 -7 in favor of the lakers for FT's.....not saying that we are not fouling but saying that they are fouling also.....That is the 10 point lead we had right there

Last year I said a healthy Ariza would help them. This is why.

He is a very good defender, and is very active on offensive boards.

You realize when the small bench unit was out there they were running RA's offense and got some layups from the motion. Then the starting 5 went out there and it was iso after iso

All we need is a warm body at center. Sign a cadaver for all I care. Put it in the paint and watch our defense instantly improve.

As a gm, and everyone on this board can agree Morey has done a good job, but there is no way he can look and say size doesn't matter. As a small team, you have to try to over compensate by using your body, arms and everything. The Lakers are so long and atheletic, they have guys that are big for their position. All of the extra stuff houston has to do just to compete will take a toll.

The lakers are a very tall team, outside of Yao we haven't a guy taller than 6'10". They are forcing our guards to beat them from outside so I hope T-Mac and Artest will start to make some shots

I blame Daryl Moron for not signing another big to help Yao out.

Seriously, what is wrong with you? He took 2 threes already, made one and missed his second. He was in the exact same position, if he missed it you would've gotten mad that he keeps shooting jumpers. You T-Mac haters are absolutely ridiculous sometimes.

Please post up Artest. It's not happening from the perimeter tonight.

Please start running high post plays for T-Mac instead of him taking it 25ft out.

Please at the very least box out. Maybe we could get some over-the-back calls.

Please stop trying to thread the needle against the Lakers long active hands.
