    I agree.

And Tmac needs to be Kobe in the 4th quarter. Just take over and let me watch the game in peace. Geez.

As usual, the big two and Shane played well, but it was the bench that really got it going for us in the second quarter. Bonzi and Mike James were a nice spark that we just didn't have out there. I expect in other games for Scola and Head to step up. Rafer was Rafer. He made some bad plays down the stretch and remains the worst shooting guard in the league, but he wasn't the unmitigated disaster people paint him as around here. He got a lot of assists and rebounded well. If Francis weren't a whining little turd he would see what a golden opportunity he has on this team to start if would just get in shape and get his head with the team.

During a close game, in clutch time, the ball should always be in Tmacs hands. Not RAFER nor anybody else! Damn!

TURNOVERS TURNOVERS TURNOVERS

    Other thoughts:
-Yao needs to be in the low-post more and needs to get the ball more
-Bonzi is going to surprise many here. Hopefully he gets more minutes
-And I see that the refs back with their whistle-blowing on every ticky-tack foul

Yao played 40 mins, got 25pts/12rbs and wasn't looking fatigued. Maybe Adelman is onto something?

Nice post. And Francis just needs to go away. His attitude tonight was AWFUL. CUT HIM.

Awesome win! Too many TO's, and the collapse late in the game got me worried.

But the team is still in transition switching to the new offense. The Rockets are still trying to find their new identity, as sir Charles Barkley has said numerous times.

Is BARKLEY actually starting to become a fan of the Rockets?!

James and Bonzi played excellent. i loved watching James take those two threes in transition. He missed the second one but we would NEVER see something like that before.

Rafer played okay. made some bad turnovers, but for the most part did good at getting the ball in the right spots. i liked how Adelman put Rafer and James on the floor at the same time.

I also liked T-Mac and Bonzi on the floor at the same time. we're not just t-mac and yao's team anymore. we're a ROCKETS team. everyone can beat you.

the thing is james was in for the last 1 minute...

when the rockets offense was clicking like the 3rd and most of the 4th quarter, it was really great to watch. I never ever remember seeing yao streaking down the court and put up a dunk, tmac's first dunk was great. the back to back dunks from yao and tmac were really something different. that got me real excited.

and chuck, i love chuck, his hustle is just always fun to watch.

this is only just the beginning, and really this game wasn't that close, in any case, rockets looked real good for many stretches of the game.

Great win, just a bit too much drama in the last 90 seconds. I think they will learn to start and end better than they did tonight in the near future.

Perhaps. But what Adelman can improve is that when Yao is in the low post he needs to get the ball. Many times he started banging for position only to see the ball get reversed, and at least once he had position, called for the ball, and was ignored.

Yao still isn't doing much on the perimeter, the one nice pass notwithstanding.

Last year this game would have been a loss.

    I saw improvement tonight.

Caption: Thats my taping that your hitting, Walton... you want me to continue carrying you guys (with me getting majority of the shots) or are you gonna play defense on McGrady?

PS. Oh yeah, and Walton, whats up with giving our opponents 2 points, that could cost us the game? Hold on to the damn ball, or better yet, just give ME the ball!

T-Mac (Thinking to himself): Oh I know I don't just hear Kobe whine again  ... oh well, off for another 2 points... Or better yet, a reverse alley-oop to Yao!!! :D

Yao: HUH??? Brown in my way, must get around him, run to the left... T-Mac throws ball behind him for alley-oop, Kobe steals it away... throws hands up in air afterwards, that he was NOT contested... that he had too easy of a shot!

    TURNOVER!!!

J/K Guys... I am just hyped that we won... just being silly on the captions...

We looked like a team with a lot of great pieces that haven't come together.

We'd better get our ass on straight really soon because this is a very brutal November schedule for us.

he was on kobe for 8 of the 12 mins. battier came back in and guarded him then.

but yes, tmac proved he's capable of guarding the most potent offensive player in the L. he should get more chances.
