Rockets nearly choked. This is not good, we made like 5 turnovers in last 1 min and half. We are not quite there yet as a team. Probably will get some losses this month when we face some good teams.

It's the first game of the season. Stop freaking out people.

That was quite the scare, but glad we showed SOME composure. Yes, that's an overstatement to say the least.

rafer's ONLY job is to be the playmaker and he commits so many TO's... so lucky to escape with a win.

ugly win, team will learn from this though.

Did you see how tmac try to downplay shane's 3 point in the interview? Disgusting. Give credit where credit is due dude. You take a sh*Tload more of bad shots, so you have no right to say that.

If you (tmac) didn't lack the killer mentality than shane wouldn't have shot that.

Great shot btw shane, we owe you.

Rafer needs to be benched. THIS GUY MAKES ME SICK.

Kobe got 44 but look at the points in both teams. In LA there were only Kobe and Fisher sometimes.

Anyway I think it's a great game for Yao and T-Mac. And of course game winner for Shane

A win is a win, I am happy about winning on the road. Laker is still a playoff team after all.

    Thoughgts after LA game

    - Only thing holding up Yao from getting the MVP is the Rockets not winning enough games (cause they base the voting on wins too.. no matter what they say) or any type of injury. The guy looks very good.

    - Steve will be in the guard rotation. Its a fact. Rafer is a liability on the offensive end. Steve has got to learn to take care of the ball in this system.

    - TMAC can turn it on if he needs to. He is not scared of Kobe of anyone. That idea is stupid. He just wants to win. When he needs to score 30, he will. When he needs to score 15, he will.

    - RA did a nice job of giving Yao and Tracy some rest during the game.

    - Yao is still the worst officiated player in the NBA.

-Kobe got callas all game long (25+ free throws) and still wnats more calls... what an ass.

    Thats it. Goodnight.

This early in the season, a win is all you can ask for. Plenty of time to straighten things out.

Always good to see Kobe throw his fits...I love how sure he is that he was in the act of shooting on the inbound play, and then apparently he thought he got hacked on that last rebound. What a joke he is.

Only thing that glares at me is playing Rafer so much in the 4th over Mike James. I don't mind starting Rafer to get the team involved, but 4th quarter is when Mike James shines.

Michael Jordan used to whine all the time, it didn't hurt his status as the best basketball player.

No, it wasn't pretty. There is plenty of adjustments to make...

but for our first game of the season, on the road, you gotta be happy with it.

We should be able to stop Fisher. But Alston did a incredibly poor job against Fisher.

And this, THIS is why we don't need Rudy Gay.

man this game looks like we are the same as last year.

all that stuff about adelman, scola, and those new additions didn't really change what i saw this game than the games last year.

Whenever Magic "sermon" Johnson starts talking you know you can get up and go to the fridge.
