What is it with the Lakers that we play like we have never been on a basketball court before.We should beat this team by double digits everytime we play them.I don't understand this the only things is maybe they are one of those teams that has another teams number.
This is just one of those games... everybody seems to be walking in quicksand. It could turn around after halftime... but its unlikely.
Yao, if you know you are going to be called a foul, make it worth. Really slam hard whoever to running into you and make sure he doesn't get the basket! Ewing is not doing anything worthwhile!
I don't know about that, the Rockets have way worse role players. Anyways, it's mediocre team vs. mediocre team, any side can win.
Yao sucks now mainly due to these 2 factors.... JVG has broken him down mentally and he doesn't have the killer instinct needed to be a great player.
Well, I guess now that the sweetest part of our schedule has come and gone, we can resume sucking. When you've got 14 out of 18 at home -- with 11 of those against weak teams -- and the best you can do is to go 10-8, then you've got BIG problems. Still say that, despite Yao's apparent lack of aggressiveness, if a head coach has a weapon like that on his team and can't figure out a way to properly exploit it, then he doesn't belong in the NBA.

Great performance by Ming so far, eh? Looks like he is really trying to sell himself to his future home? I given up the idea he can be a Laker, LA isn't going to gut their team for this fine speciman. The Rox will be lucky if they could get freakin Odom for this mess let alone Mihm and Butler. 2/3's of our half court offense is desinged to get Yao the ball deep in the post. What do you want him to do... play PG?

Ironic part is Rudy's always knocked for bad offense and JVG's always praised for good D...think about it!
I still don't understand why the Rockets don't play zone defense. The Rox right now have no one who can hold their man 1 on 1. The Lakers offense consist of.... Beating their man off the dribble then... a)hit the layup b)pass it out for the wide open jumper when the defense collapses. Pretty focking pathetic!
