Ever heard of the word "professional"? Don't get too caught up with all the conspiracy fantasies. Even if Rudy loves Yao, he will not demage his team for some remote personal feelings. Besides, maybe just because of the love, he will double team Yao to show respect to him as a real threat in the paint.

Yes, I think they will double Yao. I just hope they do not double Yao, then we have a better chance to win the game.

We will lose by 20 points....

because JVG uses Mutombo for 30 minutes while only giving Yao 15 minutes to play....:(

We can't match up with Odom. If his "teammate" wasn't Kobe Bryant that would be a problem.

We should have a big advantage down low, and on offense the other members of our team don't hoist up shots like a parched man goes after water b/c the best player on our team is a self-aggrandizing ball-hog.

Hope Kobe has a good night, if so we won't even hear from Odom - Kobe is our best defense as he thinks he can do it all by himself. What an egomaniac, to force the Shaq trade...

Memphis has won 5 straight and they play New Orleans next. We need to win tonight to keep up the pace for the number 8 spot.

Yeah, when you see how badly Odom is frozen out of the laker offense, you won't feel so sorry for yao anymore..

Exactly! I wish everyone could watch a tape of the Mavs-Lakers game. Odom is completely forgotten as Kobe aka "the new Jordan" takes over the game to the detriment of everyone else. Now that is a team on a long march to nowhere...

Since when this becomes a Laker board? Don't you guys have your own forum to post?

Anyway, there is no excuse for Yao not putting up 15+ shots tonight. Whether he gets it off the board, or demands it from his teamates, he just has to do it to destroy the Lakers' frontline.:D

Why do I have this feeling that Ming is really going to put on a show tonight? (If he gets in the game.) An audition for Rudy and Kobe?

Last time, Yao got all the lakers' big men into foul trouble.

There are no excuses not to feed Yao today.

    Rockets by 8.

    Yao 28pts 13rebs on 10/16 shooting
    T-Mac 21pts 5rebs 6assists on 7/22 shooting

Once again Shaq will dominate Yao...errr.... I mean, ummmm..

Kobe can't outscore T-Mac... We may win.

    Rudy is the better coach.
