It's unfortunate that professionals fail to give it the ol' college try.

    this show.... that

    Kobe is better than T-mac
Rudy T and better than JVG
    Odom is better than Yao
    and Rockets sucks

Yao is giving up on this team.... soon will be T-mac and JVG is the only one trying to win.....by himself......

I think it has been a steady regression. His skills have been receding more than JVG's hairline.

I am disappointed in Yao's performance. But let's be fair, none of
our players with any energy. Just one of those bad nights.

Well sorry to say, even though I don't believe JVG is a good fit as coach for this team, it's not entirely the coach's fault for the way Yao is.

I used to think that YAO was smart enough and had a strong enough will to adapt and try to win.

I"m starting to see that he walks on egg shells after every mistake. That's what's annoying.

I haven't lost faith...which explains why I get so frustrated with YAO. So what do you think is gonna happen in the near future as far as the team and management goes?

The organization obviously can't and won't allow their star player to keep playing all weak and crippled. What do you think will happen in the near future??

From personal experiences in playing organized sports, I respond to coaches that are flexible and to coaches that act like Drill Sergeants all the time. Some people respond to coaches like that, other wilt under the pressure. Yao definitely fits the latter description

I think Yao has reached his breaking point with JVG and it shows in his passive and hesitant style of play.

I think it is safe to assume that this game is over right now at halftime. I don't see any way for this team, playing this type of scheme, with a sick Yao, can possibly gut it back into this one. Everybody looks flat and those outstanding guards we traded for couldn't throw it in the ocean.

I wouldn't mind eating crow tonight but I don't see it happening.

He is a broken man, he's lost all his creativity, passing and skills he had in his first year+

even when he plays good, it's not like what he used to be, JVG ruined him!!!

I love all the players who wear rockets uniforms, but I am starting to really hate the midget in the suit coaching them.

Thing is though if we give up Yao what the hell are we going to get to replace him with? This team may be doomed with or without Yao.

I was hoping for us not to get down and put a fight tonight. It's horrible. Yao has the skills to be very effective for short periods but he is mentally very weak.

Yeah buddy. When Yao played under Rudy - those were the days!

All that positive reinforcement that had Yao at his best and scoring 13pts a game - those were the days!

The rockets have made a little run maybe they can at least make it respectable. If we are lucky they will send Coach Wee Man to the showers and we will really have a chance.

Yep, and it's obviously Yao because everybody knows how successful Van Gundy is at developing talent. :(

That was his rookie year. Scoring 13 PPG was slightly above expectations. If Rudy were still here, Yao would be scoring well over 20 PPG.
