Correct, and there may be some truth to that, length does bother kobe, but I believe it was partially because Kobe had a strained groin.
[ESPN] Gasol Doubtful For Tuesdays Game. Didn't see it anywhere lock it up if i missed it. Link Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Rockets with a strained hamstring, the team announced on Monday. Gasol was injured in the Lakers' rout of the Mavericks on Sunday. He was examined by Dr. Steve Lombardo on Monday. An ultrasound exam and an MRI showed that Gasol has a "mild-to-moderate strain of the left hamstring," according to the team. After the Rockets game, Gasol is listed as day to day. Gasol, who missed the first 11 games of the season with a strained right hamstring, left with 4:48 left in the first quarter on Sunday. "Anytime Pau has an injury, we're very concerned," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Sunday. "He complained before the game started he was feeling some tightness." Matty101.
Great news to hear for the rockets. Rockets always have a difficult time trying to guard big men due to their size, and knocking one down will clearly help us in winning this game. This is inevitably a "big game" (as Scola always says). Go get em rockets. On a side note: Hook em' horns!
Awwwhh... Poor Lakers. You mean the NBA isn't going to suspend the season till they have all their players healthy?! How is that fair to the Lakers having to play a game without one of their best players?! Oh, I know, David Stern will just send Joey Crawford to ref the game so the Rockets are playing 6 on 5. That will even the playing field.
No sympathy for GASol from me. We've been through worse injuries. I don't give a damn about him being there or not.
well the Rockets certainly aren't making excuses every time we go out there with whatever lineup we can muster up. I'll say it again: we were a 20 win team by the end of December without Yao Ming in the lineup. do we get a cookie?
