Why would you not play David when he scored 19 and pulled down 6 rebounds in 25 minutes the last time we played the Lakers?

Really looking forward to this game. Think we will play our asses off and I hope Ariza doesn't try to do too much and stick to his role.

If I remember correctly, last time we played the Fakers, Adelman had Trevor guarding Kobe instead of Shane, and it seemed to bamboozle Kobe, hopefully that will happen again. Wish Chase was playing though, and I hope Aaron's foot is ok.

ya put Ariza on trevor, length seems to bother him quite a bit. Shane's defence just doesn't work anymore on kobe

Or most likely, because Ariza defends Kobe all the time in practice when he was still on the Lakers.

    Rockets Win 98-93

    If

Shane contributes to the offense that rick runs not the gundy brothers by setting picks, moving without the ball, slashing, post up,lay ups. That will lead us to easy buckets and "less Ariza". At least shoulder the offense load by 0.08%.

Or because he had a groin injury that game.

This game will be hell for the Rockets in the 2nd half.

Well Pau Gasol suffered a hamstring injury vs the Mavericks..
Same injury that sat him out for 11 games at the beginning of the season..
Also Luke Walton is out. Ron Artest questionable.

    Could steal this one..

Let's make this an upset for the Fakers. It gives me great pleasure to see them lose (and of course even greater pleasure to see us come away with the W).

When i was watching the LAL vs DAL game, the comentators said that the hamstring was not the one that kept him out earlier this season. Supposedly he not gonna miss too much time.

If Pau does play, it will make our lives that much more difficult. Gonna be a tough and close game.

I will say lakers win by 2. We got lucky once this season in LA, i am not getting my hopes up too much for this game. If we can keep it close, i will be proud of our guys.

this game thread is made by chinese fans in hoopchina(the best basketball forum), it's funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

before every game, there are some guys(loyal rockets fans) spend a lot of time writing something and photoshop many pics about this game will playing.
they made the game thread into an interesting little story and ps many related pics.it always making us laughing.

82 games in one season ,they do 82 times, never forget do it.and they must be compiled into 82 different stories for the fans.

you may not understand the chinese game thresd, but I would say though Yao doesn't playing there are many chinese fans support rockets.

mu english is poor,i hope you can read.

    GO! rockets!!!

I dunno; I think our team's been looking pretty tired the last few weeks. They seem to come out and play with energy and enthusiasm the first couple of quarters, but seem to show their collective tiredness late third on into the fourth.

I've been noticing this of Scola in particular (my favorite player pretty much, so I tend to watch him when he's on the floor). The effort is still there, just the body doesn't seem to be able to follow up with what he's willing it to do.

Wonder if that was a factor with Landry saturday night? I couldn't see the game well enough to tell.

Ying, this looks interesting, but it's really hard to get anything from just the photos. Would any of those posters consider posting any of these also in english? I'd read them.

I think Ariza's been on Trevor all year long... how else can you explain all the bricks all over the basketball courts??

Anyways...it'll be a tough game regardless of who plays, and who doesn't for the Lakers, but it'll be nice for the Rockets to have a few days off to regroup for yet another back-to-back. Unfortunately, i think the Fakers pull it out...

i must say, even though i can't understand at all what it's saying, i LOLed at the pics.. the OP photoshoped from Infernal Affairs movie (the one that Hollywood decide to remake, called The Departed, starred by Di Caprio) right? Ron Artest as Andy Lau and Ariza as Tony Leung..

and what's with the post with cute girls pic?

Lakers have been playing every game at home, while the Rockets been on the road. At least it just seems that way and just isn't fair. Win or lose, I can not wait to see the schedule get easier after Wednesday. Rockets will put up good fight, but I do not see them beating Lakers at home a second time even without Gasol. Hope they prove me wrong.

I think Gasol tweaked something.......maybe we can steal another one.

But it will be tough...the Lackers are tough at home.
