People are going to say this is the game where we got punished against a taller team, and that's true to a degree, but that's just not what I'm seeing. I'm seeing an offense that doesn't know what it wants to do against a different arrangement of opponents. They're not able to take advantage of Russ pushing the pace in transition, because the Knicks are getting back and they're long. And then not getting back on D fast enough means you have no chance to set up a proper contest against a taller team that has forward momentum. But that doesn't mean it's not possible to figure this out. It's just that they're playing an in-between game on all fronts, and so they can't really take advantage of anything.
I don't question Westbrook's effort, but Harden's effort is pretty questionable. 0/8 from 3 instead of trying to take a midrange shot.
Harden please smart up. You will get Fts or points if you drive to the rim! Just stop chucking broken three.
How did he run his mouth? He replied to someone. It's not like Harden went on a random unprovoked social media rant about how he's better than Giannis or something.
Harden’s 3 point shot is always the death of us in the end. He just won’t stop shooting it no matter what.
