then he misses a layup.. .. i want to see hayes. i really think he's better than swift and the team plays better with him out there.. we get 2nd chance shots.. with swift he gets NO REBS!!!
what does he have tonite so far? like 2 rebs?

Swift is driving past Taylor like he's stuck in cement; all they can do is foul. Van Gundy is exploiting the mismatch.

This game is an example of the beauty of having both TMac and Yao. You can win as long as one of them is on. Yao was dominant in the first half, and TMac is carrying the second half.

Swift is playing pretty well on both ends, hope Yao comes back in and torches those fakers like he did in the first half.

I would put Yao, Swift, McGrady, Wesley, and Alston for the final 3-4 minutes.

BTW, apparently a lot of Rockets fans there today, I hear a lot of cheering everytime a Rocket scores...nice to know we have a following in Knick country.

Oh, and how many times does McGrady have to get hit in his already broken/sensitive nose? This is like the fourth time he gets hit in his nose since Voskul smashed it the other day against the Bobcats...are opponents targeting his nose?

i'm all for showcasing swift in this game, as long as we win, its also keeping the secret of chuck hayes. although i like swifts game he last few games, i like having multiple big men to rotate in and out, if we trade him we better get something good.

Why is Yao not in yet? WTF is JVG waiting for?

I don't know how the Knicks normally look, but they look pretty darn good today, they're playing hard and well and are actually making all kinds of shots.

I think the Knick's problem is not talent (they have plenty of it), it's fitting those talents together into a team concept.

BTW, both Yao and McGrady aren't at their best today...which is ok I guess as long as we win.

Larry Brown has the Knicks playing tough today... if they had any real talent, his coaching would win the game by itself.

they have loads of talent, just no "team" players. most of the guys have a history of being 1 on 1 players and that's not how a team is made.

Don't matter, you live and die by your star players, regardless of how hot or cold they are...what other option would you rather have on the floor inside?

EDIT: Bullsh!t call on McGrady right there, that was a clean block

It sounds just like you're trying to find a nice way to say they've got a bunch of "losers". :D

How the f*** did you know? What are you, a fortune teller? :p

Beautiful pass...this guy can beat you with so many weapons, not just with his scoring.

EDIT: Stro with GREAT playing the 2nd half, I don't care what any of you say.

    T-MAC with the dagger! :D

    you caught me!
but really, rose, crawford, marbury, taylor, curry, and qrich have really only been on a total of 2 or 3 winning teams as a group, that says something.
great block by yao! and tmac with the dagger.
