This loss is all on Ime. Jalen was trying his heart out, but that's not good enough. Cam played 23 min and Jalen 36 on a night when Jalen was getting dominated and Cam was dominating. Amen inexplicably gets plopped in the corner for most of the second half. It was about the worst bench coaching I've seen in a long time.
Bridges blocked 1 fadeaway - the jump in air and bad pass he was fouled in air and they didn’t call it so he forced a pass (listen to Knicks broadcast) and he was last getting back majority of the game cause he’s playing on 1 leg … trust if he was dogging it on D Ime would sit him
I think the only way Jalen truly turns around the perception around him is if he has a truly fantastic playoff series. As it stands now, Cade, Mobley and Barnes are objectively better players and these are the guys who shared the all-rookie team with Jalen. Franz Wagner will likely be an all-star next season as well. Jalen has a lot of work to do. They say basketball IQ can’t really be taught, but I think it can be. In my opinion, it’s more like “Feel” is something that can’t be taught and while Jalen doesn’t have the greatest feel, he definitely has better instincts than JLin. The other thing is I hope Jalen can rest properly too, I think he’s definitely playing like he’s a little hurt
Ime always does this you always see the worst performer aka FVV get the most minutes. Now without FVV JG got the same treatment. I appreciate the effort but at the end of the day we here to win not hand out participation trophies. Folks will watch the game and hear announcers say he’s limping all game They will see him being iced on bench ( Hand, Knee, Calf) They will see him wincing while running up and down court or during deadballs all this and he’s still trying to carry a team that if we are honest it’s just him and Amen out there - Cam may show up but Tari Brooks Adams Tate Holiday just not the best when you facing teams who put up 120-140 points regularly

What does that even mean? On scoring? So what lol. On scoring Jordan Poole is probably better than Amen Thompson. Sheppard in his 3rd season averaging 16/5/5 on good efficiency will be better than anything Jalen has done to date.
