Thanks, my friend! Really appreciate it. :)

I'm a HUGE NBA fan and have been for decades. Really happy for Lin and the Rockets.

As much as I don't care for the team, I think they have one of the best post-game write-up blog in the NBA. Even more hilarious when they lose. Fandom at its best.

Does anyone find it odd that Lin seems to play his best when the spotlight is brightest on him?

I mean he's only had a few above average games this year (Knicks twice, Spurs, a couple other games), but it seems that they come when there's the most media attention.

Been reading national news, they're pretty much saying the same thing.

That's not odd, stars play their best when the spotlight is brightest on them.

That could be because he's aware of the attention/pressure so he pushes himself to be more aggressive. As it has been stated countless times here, Lin's at his best when he's playing aggressively.

Yeah didn't Kobe drop 61 on the Knicks a few years back?

You're right. Lin was more aggressive and clearer about what he's doing today. But it seemed Harden's game was a kind of different version of his usual as well. Calvin Murphy used a word like "quiet" to describe his game today in this video (http://www.csnhouston.com/rockets/calvin-murphy-impressed-lins-game). We already know he's a very efficient player. But he seemed more so today than before. I'm sure we all love this type of balanced coexistence between the two.

Later in this video (http://www.csnhouston.com/rockets/mchale-talks-about-lins-game-vs-new-york), Greg Smith mentioned how the whole team wanted to help Lin and Douglas win this game. This must have really helped Lin with his confidence today. Who wouldn't like this ox-strong kid and the rest of this young team, seriously? :)

Sorry guys the videos keep auto-starting and the first video's not correct. I couldn't figure out how to edit the thing. It's been reported to clutch and hopefully will be fixed soon.

Thank you for the links! And it's so nice to see the team supporting each other! I also liked that one video of Greg Smith saying how KG complimented him.

That's game recognizing game. KG sees it, we are all witnesses. Greg Smith will have a long career in the L, hopefully as a Rocket.

The Rockets made the effort to get Lin going tonight. He was handling the ball a lot more tonight. I will be interested to see if this was just because Lin was back in NY or if this is a major adjustment going forward. I suspect the former over the latter unfortunately.

I sort of knew the Rockets want this game for Lin when K.Sampson went up to him just before a timeout around the 2nd Quarter. All we need is to beat the Bulls for Asik and the Thunder for Harden. This is a winning lineup with G.Smith playing.
