I like a chick who knows where the camera is.

 

Was he really handling the ball that much or just bringing it up and passing it off?

 

He's improved his handle, he's attacking the paint and finishing with the left hand, he drives and dishes at the right times, lower turnovers. Exponential growth with every game.

 

Yeah, I kind of agree with the improvement and attacking part. I want him to attack more (without getting broken in half or killed). I was more talking about PG duties. I didn't really think he had more true "ball-handling" or PG duties. Or if he did, they were kind of superficial in bringing the ball up. I'd like to see him be more aggressive attacking and learning how to finish in traffic ... and put on about 15-25 pounds (lol). Even more than having him be a pseudo-PG. I'm not sure he's good enough at recognizing things on the court to do major PG work, but I could be wrong.

 

Originally he would drive and cause a collision or get stuffed. He's making progress. The bad thing is that Silas has empowered all the bad role players, they all think they're point guards. Then he subs out Green at awkward times.

 

It's not just empowering them. Every player in that 5-out offense needs to be able to pass and make decisions. You can't just have some big stiff sitting out there not being able to shoot or pass. Of course we're having problems shooting and seem to have some questionable decisions being made on the fly, so ... here we are. lol. I'd love to see some of the movement and passing in some of those Mavs offenses where ball-handlers were attacking, passing, attacking, shooting, etc. Most of the stuff I've seen from KPJ and Green has been attack the paint and get stuffed, be confused, or fumble the ball. And that's all the players, not just them. They're still young and learning, so I get to suffer watching it while they get paid. This is just wrong.

Yeah, the people claiming he played a PG game have me scratching my head.

Seemingly don't understand a lot more goes into being a PG then 5 dribbles up the court.
