If bonzi can get back soon, we will forget Snyder's injury.

I have a question that's off topic, and i don't think deserves a topic of its own.

How often to the rockets practice? Do they practice the mornings of days when they have night games? How long are these practices? Are the practices public?

I'm thinking the practices are private so they can go over gameplans against specific upcoming teams right?

Finally, is the reason why JVG does not play guys like Novak and Span because these guys are just being outplayed during these practices?

    Thanks ya'll.

Tracy did have 15 points in the second half. when we made our run in the 4th, tracy scored 6 of the 10 points to 0 run..

During the season the team practices during off days, but they rarely scrimmage. As I understand it mostly they talk about upcomming opponents and working on plays that the other team likes to run and how to attack their defense.

On the point about players getting outplayed in practice. I think JVG plays guys that he is comfortable with, and he is scared to death of rookies......

That being said, he will adjust over time.....but then so do glaciers.

Hell, I’d trade anyone outside of Yao or Mcgrady for David Lee. Great athlete, great size, and he’s pretty close to averaging a double double in only 23 minutes a game.

He’s better than any role player we have.

    BINGO, My Brother !!!!!

You could DEFINITELY See the entire team FEEDING off the energy - It trickles All the way, Up and down the lineup !!!!!

He takes a charge, almost make 2 incredible steals, stays in front of his man on D - takes the ball to the hole with authority, diving for loose balls.

All of a sudden - the whole team was playing with more passion.

This is just human nature !!!

Here's a vote for VSPAN getting PT in the 4th Quart.

He doesn't have to start - but I'd sure like him to finish !!!!

Agreed....he is really something to watch, imagine him roaming free with Yao and Tmac drawing all that attention.

He is a better Chuck Hayes.

My guess for the last question is : JVG has issues with Novak and V-span. Like D and TOs. Question is: who does not have issues? Maybe God and Battier.. ;)

Bill Worrell compared David Lee to Luke Walton. Other than appearance, way off.

A much better comparison would be to a young Dennis Rodman. Except he hits his free throws.

Battier had a big impact in this game. Prevented multiple easy layups and dunks by stripping the ball under the basket... dove for the loseball and won the tipoff, and I think he took a charge, too.
