Size wise, it isn't as bad as it was the past couple of years. David Wesley was 6'1". The current guys who can man the shooting guard position aren't as short.

V-Span is 6'4" - Just has to keep turnover down, and continue the effort.
Head is 6'3" - As long as he doesn't fade away like last year, he's pretty solid.
T-Mac is 6'8" - Getting his minutes at the SF, with minimal time at SG.
Battier is 6'8" - Is getting a most of his minutes at PF, but can help at SG.

If JVG Gundy can get Wells back soon, then there should be no problem.

Anyone else wish that David Lee was on the Rockets?

He is a bigger Chuck Hayes....man I like the way that guy plays ball.

I think we have the components to be a championship team, with Vspan, Tmac, Yao, and Battier, and Hayes..we have a similar mold to Spurs.

Nice road win, even if it is against the Knicks. I love Vspan's energy and seems from the limited action he got tonite that the Rockets seemed to feed off of that as well.

    Paging Bonzi Wells.

Either way that is a tough tough break...

    Get well soon Kirk.....

IS that what the white part is? Maybe that's just the light reflecting off his skin.

It looks more like he's holding his crotch in pain or something :D but seriously, I hope he gets well soon

Hayers is quicker. That is what Rockets needed as well.

LOL - you talking about Channing Frye?

I am not saying we could get either, but I like their hustle and how hard they play.

Ironically it is the all star PGs Marbury and Francis which are the Knicks problems.

I would give them Juwan and Bonzie for David Lee, you think they would go for it?

    :D

They wouldn't go for Bonzi . THey would probably want a better PG in exchange. So lets just dump Alston on them :D Have V-Span take over PG duties, become the next Tony Parker.

    To win 4th quarter:

    1. Yao on the court.
    2. T-mac controls the ball.
    3. Head hits the three.

    1-2-3 = Victory!

I was so excited to see V-span on the court that I almost fell out of my chair. It's about friggin time!!! The shuffle by Maubury was uncalled for and it goes to show that how pesty and effective V-span's D was. I also like his decision making and how he made a strong move along the baseline for a layup attempt when yao was double teamed. That was a very smart move.

    Go V-span! :)
