I went to the game tonight and had great seats (row H, lower level, midcourt). I got a good look at Zhang Ziyi who walked right by me and the rest of the action and will post my recap tomorrow or so.

We have swept 3 back to back games in last 8 games. Yao's stamina is really better or just the way he played now?

Are we two games over .500 now? The front page says we're 18-17?

hes not banging in the low post every play. he gets to pick his times - so its not as hard on him. or so the theory goes.

 Why NY always played so ****? Stephon Marbury?? OK, but I think Zeke also isn't a good coach. In addition, Big Yao soundly defeated Eddy Curry, twice.

Very good point...no one has really brought that up yet...that atrocious record without T-Mac was with JVG, who's offense was basically Yao-Mac and not much else so if one went down the whole system fails but with Adelman, the ball sharing is starting to pay dividends. Some people point to the light schedule but we weren't beating any teams without T-Mac last year much less the weak ones. So although I was one of those calling for Adelman's head earlier in the season, I have to give him some credit now. Hopefully this continues...

She was with her loser boyfriend, some rich Israeli investor douche Aviv "Vivi" Nevo. In all honesty she didn't look that hot or as good as she does in her movies - and she refused to sign autographs for the chinese fans who asked. Plus I wanted to kick Vivi Nevo's ass because he loooked like a total ******* and kind of a b****, I just didn't get the chance, ha ha. But she was cheering for Yao, or so it appeared.

Other celebs - Brandon Jacobs (RB for the NY Giants, HUGE guy), Ron Howard, some old school rappers who I couldn't quite place, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg & his Girlfriend (ironically, even though Mike Bloomberg has more money than th rest of the celebs, he had the worst seats - courtside, far corner.).

Twice? Oh I see, you just started to watch Rockets this season. Every time, my friend, every time Rox vs Knicks. It's been so many times that I don't even get excited about that any more.

I was there, too, and it was my first time as well. What a game! I figured this board would have exploded at halftime but I'm glad everyone is still here.

I hung out with the fankids at the back of MSG after the game to watch the team board the bus to the airport. WOW! Seeing Yao reasonably close up is almost shocking. His height is unfathomable until you really see him. He looked really tired and boarded quickly. But Rafer, Deke, Tmac, Battier and Scola gave us a wave and a nod.

(We also saw Isiah getting the hell out in his chauffeured car. The crowd heckled him and chased the car. Hee!)

Yeah, it does feel like homecourt for him but you would be surprised at how many NY fans he has who aren't Chinese. I'm one of them.

I was hoping for that, too, so that we could stand and applaud his last appearance at MSG. Oh well.

how about them dang rockets??? im proud of the bunch... we all should be. tmac has a very high basketball iq, and it would be ignorant to deny that he is on the bench right now taking note on how his team is getting it done with defense, ball movement, etc... we will be sick once he gets back to full health. rafer, is simply impressing me. it is very evident that he has been working his butt off on his floater. great job rockets, keep it up...
