That Marbury trade realy hurt New York, at least for now.

I believe Calvin Murphy's policy for any ace marksman in a slump is to keep shooting. I don't know if this is possible for Pike though. There was one really bad miss from a wide open shot in the 2nd quarter that caused Van Gundy to immediately tell JJ to go to the scorer's table to get in the game. Pike is going to lose more and more playing time to JJ. I think he has to get his shooting touch back in the gym. I wonder if Calvin Murphy can help him out.

Yeah, we'd never play Padgett when we are up by 25 if we weren't shopping him

But what's up with Boki?!?! This is just like last night. Is there a 3min cap on his playing time.

Yes, JJ has been a streak shooter. Pike should be as well but after the injury, he seems to often streak toward the wrong side.

He got a taste of playing against Steve's defense. However, he did have his outside shot going today. Don Chaney is going to have a false impression of Moochie tonight. He might give Moochie more playing time vs Stephon because of his numbers tonight. Stephon is just getting adjusted to his new team. He'll get going when he's more used to his teammates.

Well, game over. Did the announcers mention anything about the Rockets? All they talked about were the knicks...even while we were up by 30.

    "Pat-trick Eww-ing"

Usually hate it when the Yankee fans do it but classy by the New York fans.

And how about this Marv Albert quote:

"The final score does not indicate how bad this really was"

    Good job Roxs :D

As impressive as this game was, it only counts for one win. But it's a damn good win! :D Francis nailing his shots and getting respect from the refs really opens up our offense. I think the fact that he hasn't been hitting his shots with consistency this season has really messed up our approach on offense. Having 3 scoring threats from the perimeter instead of two really opens up the offense. But from the get go this was the Rockets win. When I saw Cato hit that long jumper, I knew we had the game in the bag. That was Steve Kerr smooth the way he stroked that 20 foot jumper.

Maybe you're right. It wasn't the Marbury that hurts New York. It's the Moochie that hurts them. As since getting Moochie, they have never won a game. Not even close. :D
