    Quick observations:

    1) Nice sub by Gumpy to use Padgett for Howard when the latter was hitting nothing but bricks;

    2) Sura is passing the ball the Yao;

    3) Yao has been playing great in the last 3 games. The best thing for Yao is that somehow he finds his outside shooting touch all the way to 20 footer. He is also turning the ball over less recently.

    4) Very concerned about TMac's knees. Is he badly injured or what?

    5) NY made a huge run when we were content in shooting jumpers in the late 4th quarter. Nice TO to call the ball to Yao who made a very difficult jumper to pull us within 1. Nice dish by TMac to Padgett for the game winner.

    marbury dribbled the shot clock down to about 4 then went up for the shot, but passed off to crawford, who started to go up but then passed back to marbury who then went to pass it back or get the shot off but the shot clock expired.

    for us, tmac drove to about the ft line, then passed to padgett. at first he tried to pass but everything broke down so he drove and kinda made it to the ft line with a guy on his hip and then just leaned in and hit the jumper as time expired. incredible.

    i was about to post that i would like to see padgett become a rotation guy, maybe 10-15 minutes a game (i've wanted it for a while) but then he kind of started sucking but then he became the savior so i stand by my original feeling. his 3 point shot spreads the floor (or makes teams who don't pay) so well.

    Me too! Last I saw it was 91-88 New Tork with 1:25 left and I was ticked. Surfed the net for a bit, and came back and prayed the Rockets forced overtime, and instead they win! BOOOYAAAAHH!!!

    When did Yao regain his skills? He looks like the old Yao who didn't have to brute his way to shots. Yao is no Shaq. I liken him to a slower, taller KG.

    He has been making all kinds of shots in the last 3 games. Only if his teammates can recongize this and get him more shots. Since Yao's jumper is back, it's time to run some P&R to free him for some 15-18 foot jumper.

    BTW, Yao will never punch his teammate in his life. Book it.

    Yao was fantastic in the 4th. He is Clutch baby.

    Tmac had a great game, but ran out of gas in the 4th, understandably so, considering he outscored the Knicks in the 3rd.

    We snuck out with a win. You could tell the team was tired in the 4th.

    Yeah.

    This was a BIG win! To come back the night after a very emotional win and find a way to pull out the game on the road shows that this team has character.

    Yao stepped up HUGE, dominated the piant on both ends most of the 3rd, and hit a clutch shot at the end. That third quarter should be what Rocket fans can look forward to in the future with both Yao and TMac controlling everything.

    GREAT WIN! Now lets get the next two before Sacremento.

    I saw that play but I had the TV volume down (damn Van) and I thought they called a foul, not a shot clock violation. So I switched it thinking they would hit both throws and the game would be over. :mad:

    But I did switch it back to catch Scott's shot!

    Padegt gives us the last strike!!!

    Yao and T-mac keep us in the game all the time.

    Sura made some horrible turnovers!

    JH shot some horrible airballs!

    There is one moment our lineup on the court is like Barry, Strikerland, Mutumbo, Padget, and some one else. It looks like a senior team playing. don't know what jvg is thinking about?

    I still believe that the brace really bothered Yao for the first two months of the season. He said that it would take him about 2 weeks to get used to playing without it. If Yao can start drop jumpers like he did in the last 3 games, he can become unguardable soon by mixing the high low post game frequently.

    Quick observations:

    • Great win. 4th game in 5 nights and clearly we were tired. But we found a way.
    • What a great game for Yao! We got his confidence going early and that is what he needed to make those jumpers later in the game. And what a great DEFENSIVE game from Yao! Had some GREAT blocks and was active with rebounds! One of the better defensive games I have ever seen from Yao. What we saw tonight from Yao is the Yao we want to see EVERY NIGHT. But once again the Knicks DONT double down on Yao and they DONT front Yao. Yao has a field day when he plays a post player one on one that isnt quick!
    • McGrady was awesome early, but only had 2 points in the 4th quarter. I think he wore out.
    • As for the Knicks, what can I say? The Knicks are the kind of team that makes their own mistakes and just begs the opposition to capitilize on them. That last sequence with the shot clock violation is a classic example. They are a terrible team. They have some good players, but a terrible team. And the only reason we almost lost is we gave them hope with our own stupid mental errors, turnovers, not attacking the basket and settling for jumpers etc.
    • And finally, Padgett? LOL, what a great way to win. It figures we would win that way. Hey, Padgett played pretty well. He got his shot going early and got some confidence.

    Hopefully the Rockets can gets some serious rest this weekend. They earned it!

    KG is not a post player, period! Yao is not a perimeter player either. Guess that evens out.

    This Win prove that YAO should take more high post shoots. Don't waste YAO's mid\long distance shooting talent!
