I see what you're saying, but these guys are in preservation mode and 3s don't usually lead to injuries like going to the basket.

He's a good shooter, but he's not good at making the type of shots that he keeps stubbornly taking. The majority of his threes are unassisted, off the dribble, and contested.

well then maybe he should stop forcing up all of these highly contested threes and try to get better looks

he should try to get his midrange game going, and then look to step further out once he's in a good rhythm
