They ARE NOT the worse team in the league in reality, only record wise, but are we the same team we were early in the season? No, our record was a very good one then too, but we've changed. So has Sacramento. A lot.
The Kings have been frisky since Hawes got back in the lineup. They were leading the Lakers in the first half the other night. They have nothing to lose right now. Can't underestimate any team in the NBA.
Need to come out with some energy and take charge of this game. It will a shame if the Rockets lose this game.

Portland...Portland is not good on the road against .500 teams either. They've only beat a manu-less Spurs and CP3-less Hornets...so they may be even worse than the Jazz...but they will get Homecourt if we lose tonight. I'm pretty sure of that. Losing any of these two games will be huge.
The reason lakers lost to Celtics last season was because they don't play defense. There is a reason why the rockets will lose in first round again this season is because they don't play defense either!
i hope adelman changes the defensive assignment after half time and have yao guard thompson and scola guard hawes. if not, its gonna get ugly again
Since the trade deadline, the Rockets defense has been really good overall, but not so much on the road... watching the Kings of all teams shoot 48% in the first half is disappointing.
Great analysis, we should always compare a team who didnt play defense for a whole year to a team who didn't play it for a few random games.

my point was that as good as you think they are, they still have the worst record in the league. as good as you say they play, they still lose a lot of games. there is no excuse for losing tonight. the rockets must win, or face a major backlash from fans and media.
