Putting him on Artest is not the best of plans...The fact he is the only guy other then Tmac who seems to have the ability to hit a 3 is why he will stay.
Nothing, as usual we're a subpar one-on-one defensive team. Our strength is team defense, not individual defense. This is precisely why teams with good one-on-one scorers are tough for us to defend/slow down (i.e. Dallas, Suns, even teams like the Kings with a lot of good offensive players). McGrady is single-handedly keeping this team in the game now, but without some help from his 'friends' (or foes on some nights...looking at you Rafer) it will be 1-on-5 out there. The Kings have Bibby (a REAL point guard), Miller/SAR (two scoring big men), Artest and Martin...basically at least four offensive players who can get/create their own offense. When the playoffs start, that will only become and more and more 'pronounced' as far as our roster lacking in 'creators' and with our horrible bench production. I can already see that being a HUGE problem in the playoffs where pretty much every team will have more depth/spread out production than we will.
please do something, others. i see tmac burn himself now. no good that we have another quarter to handle.
Did anyone see that air-ball layup Rafer had or was it just me seeing things? Strange how we got the lead only after Deke came in...things don't always work as expected.
Wow. Hayes has an ugly release. You would think with the millions they get paid they would learn how to shoot FTs.
he hit the back board if you look back in the thread you'll see mad amounts of hate thrown rafer's way after that botched layup.
With him getting major minutes we have still been the #1 FG defense in the NBA. Somehow, I think we will manage to hide him on D if he can keep making jumpers.
