Even though Steve isn't one of my favorite players anymore and he's made yet another mistake on national tv, I really think the stupid announcers should stop talking about it, there's a freakin' game going on and they kept talking about Steve, especially that annoying **** Walton. The rox gotta pull this one out.
These refs are now officially HORRIBLE... Yao was just called for a Webber FLOP!!!! Now the YOF's and SOF's will have something in common!
seriously, this angers me so much when the refs miss so many calls it could skew the outcome of the game...
The thing that I don't get is that the Rockets ARE THE AGGRESSORS. They're driving it in, they're forcing the issue, and yet they're not getting the calls. Every commentator has always said that to get the calls, the team that's more aggressive will always come out on top. The Kings haven't done that, the Rockets have... yet no calls. I don't care if the refs don't like the complaining... just call what you see. Punish us by techs (that will shut them up), not non-calls.
The Rox "forcing the issue" is the problem. The Kings offense...well, they just make it seem effortless. I think the Kings make us look bad in terms of what "aggressive offense" should be.
Bill Walton just went from the biggest supporter of the Rockets on national TV... to the biggest hater.
Walton - "This is a team that has had major shrinkage in the last few years..." Perhaps this explains the transition from Kings to Queens...?
I hate saying this, but play it out with this squad and keep Yao out until there is a swing of momentum Steve, Cat, Mo, Spoon and JJ are playing great together Stuart
That's great for offensive execution, but they're getting foul calls just by posting up a guy and trying to get position... something Yao has done every single game (including this one), and nary a call. And then when you have a guy drive the lane... and have one of his hands HELD DOWN... and yet he still makes the shot... that has nothing to do with effortless offense... that's just bad officiating. But, I'll stop making excuses. If we keep up the defense, we should win this game.
