Anyone else think that Yao looks like Drago with that patch on his face? [Yao to Brad Miller, in his best Drago voice] I must break you
i've been saying this for a month. if we don't get some perimeter defense we won't be able to stop anyone.
Especially since the majority of the league's teams have very quick guards, which will always spell trouble for us... On a sidenote, at least if we had signed Shareef we could have that 3rd option it turns out we're missing
Its simply about hustle... we're clearly a much better defensive team when a hustling Ryan Bowen comes in there, but he can't do anything on offense so it hinders us. All it takes is one guy not doing his job (and its normally DA, Swift, or Howard)... and the whole concept of "HELP" defense breaks down.
I have a question: What's up with DA always laughing and pointing at someone when he makes a shot? Is there someone he's pointing to, or is he just doing it to look cool on camera? The kid is softer than Matt Maloney...
I would normally be impressed, but who're we kidding? It's Sac-town's world-class defense we're playing against. Sac-town got even worse defensively than they were in the past, which is quiet a feat really...
Man we can't put a single great game together. Tonight our offense is good, but we're not playing defense. I am seeing a couple of good thingthings from a couple of acquisitions Let's keep it going
To quote Charles Barkley before the game: "How can you not start your biggest off-season acquisition (referring to Swift)?"
the concept of "HELP" is the reason yao picks up fouls. i would put money down that if yao didn't have to HELP he would be playing 36 MPG with no foul trouble...but thats another story. it's true that one guy not doing his job will throw everything off. the problem is it's not allways because they forget about thier assignment. they are slow. wesley can't stick with any PG or SG anymore. niether can barry or DA. all we need is one guard who can play "lock down" defense.
