DA is just a stupid selfish player. He had T-Mac wide open on the post, our superstar who's looking to get into a good rhtyhm after one made basket... and he stupidly tries to drive it in to a sea of defenders and gets the ball stolen. Unfortunately, I've seen him make this place MANY times this year so far... this isn't the first. Its becoming a really bad/ugly habit, and i'm pretty sure its just a matter of time before T-mac rips him a new one.
If Yao didn't even try to attempt to defend the pick and roll (as you're advocating), teams would just do that EVERY SINGLE TIME, and we'd be overly screwed. The fact that he does defend it well about 60% of the time helps prevent other teams from running it as much as they could.
OK, that right there tells me Reggie Miller has never watched a Rocket game this season or the last one (basically since we acquired Howard). He just said Howard is a good rebounder and a solid defender
nice to see tmac attacking the basket! that's the key to our teams success. too many times he gets comfortable shooting over the defender instead of taking it to the rim.
You can tell Kevin Harlen was almost going to utter his "sucked the gravity outta the building!" trademark. He caught himself at the last second...Keep those for the playoffs Harlen
BTW, did anyone talk about/mention the SR610 interview with McGrady this morning when he said that his wife/fiance is expecting anytime during this road trip? He might have to miss a game or something if that takes place. So wifie, please hold it in as long as you can...
this is going to end up as the longest 1st quarter in nba history. it was already taking forever before the delay.
