So, you want him to guard Shareef?

Didn't we see this story when Yao had to guard Josh Howard in Dallas because there was no paint player for him to guard?

Right now, we're looking like Yao is creating mis-matches AGAINST us... it should be the other way around, but its not tonight.

LOL, which team is not a bad matchup for Rox? Remember we are 5-12, could be 5-13 soon.

Yeah! I'd love to see the Rockets zone up and put Yao in a position to guard the basket. Letting the smaller players who have better foot speed and better stamina for the most part chase the smaller players would be smart, but JVG isn't smart he's like you said F_cking stuborn. JVG offense is like a checklist: do this and then this and if that doesn't work try this. Same old predictable crap.

First of all, Miller gets these shots because his defender (Yao) isn't getting back to him... teams don't have that problem when Yao has the ball. There's ALWAYS somebody on him at all times.

I'm all for mixing it up... but that doesn't mean that defenses are all of a sudden going to lay down and let Yao get open looks... they're not, they haven't, and they never will.

Unless Yao is on an all-star team, where every player requires extra attention... he'll ALWAYS be one of the primary focuses of a team's defensive game-plan... always.

Did you not see the first half? Bibby's eyes got bigger than a kid on Christmas when he saw Head on him (kinda like T-mac and Fransisco).

That being said, nobody is playing defense tonight... so why not bring him in.

i'm starting to side with those who want JVG gone. although i don't agree with firing him in the middle of the season.

JVG's late 90's style of coaching is not going to win in todays "don nelson NBA"

sad to think that the game could pass by JVG before he hit 45.

And yet the teams that will eventually contend for a championship (San Antonio, Detroit, Miami) all very much play a ninetees style of basketball.

This time it's not really Yao's fault. He doesn't have time to gather himself for a dunk.

    huge shot by tmac!

great job closing the quarter after we f'ed up the start of it.

we need to get back into the game early in the 4th! the kings are a smart team. they will bring thier A game within the first few minutes.
