Again, Howard is useless after 1st quarter.

You hit the nail on the head. Offense is less effective when it's predictable because the Defense of the opposing team can set up to stop you. For example fronting Yao to keep the ball out of his hands. When you play one dimensional the defense only has to worry about each player doing one thing.

I like how Juwan Howard shoots what's basically a threepointer....if they leave you open out there that doesnt mean you have to gdamn shoot it.

Teams deny Yao the ball EVERYWHERE near the paint and inside the 3-point line (not just in the low post)... half of our offensive sets are designed simply so he can get the ball with some semblance of breathing room.

It wouldn't be as big of a problem for other players if Yao wasn't so big, thereby making it rather easy to move fastly around him to deny him the ball.

The best offense with Yao is the pick and roll... always keep him moving, and don't give the defense a chance to deny him anything... but to do that, you have to have good complimentary players, and right now we only have T-Mac who's above average at his position.

Well Sacramento is running away with it, absolutely ZERO defense, they're shooting 60% from the field...

We'll never get there with that kind of thinking. TMac is in his prime and Yao is entering his prime. We have got to upgrade every chance we get because we need to win NOW. Doing what you are saying, we will be perpetually building for the future and then when we get good, experienced role players TMac will be over the hill. We've got to improve any chance we get, and not "wait til next year."

You wanna bring in Jalen but you think Spree is too old and slow???? Come now. I'm not against Jalen. Even though he hasn't played defense since 1999. I would consider him as a possible upgrade. How is he soooo much better than latrell to not consider Latrell as well?

If Spree signs...great...but he isn't going to change the rest of our players that have been playing like crap...there are no miracles, especially not in Spree...

This is getting out of hand again... :(

CAN WE JUST SAY IT ONE MORE TIME. MIXING IT UP DOESNT MEAN TURNING YAO INTO AN EXCLUSIVELY HIGH POST JUMPSHOOTING CENTER. THANK YOU. LET RETURN TO THE GAME.

Ok, on consecutive possessions, DA throws the ball away, then lets Wells abuse him on the post. pathetic. he's a bust.

I would play Moochie over DA... at least Moochie has a better than 30% chance of hitting a shot.

    This is pathetic.
