That is what happens when we put our worst defender on their best offensive player. Someone is going to look bad. I mean, it's not like we don't have any alternatives.

Batter's defense might have been good, Lee's defense was stifling.

And a related point, I never, EVER, EVER want to see a Brooks, Martin, Budinger lineup. Ever again. WTF.

You are correct in many ways. Battier holds the team together and he is not to be blamed when the coaching staff fails impress on our players how important defense is. We are a sieve, and we will continue to be a sieve until defense becomes a mandatory effort from the top.

You can cover that weakness up so easily, Lee, Battier and T-Will are all capable defenders. Donte Greene and Garcia aren't exactly on fire right now, just switch it up. LOL RA's letting K-Mart go one-on-one against Tyreke, of course it'll make him look bad.

I concur, Adelman needs to make some adjustments in the 2nd half.

No offense, but Jim Foley shouldn't be on TV, it's just too scary hearing him talk like that.

I'm thinking T-Will will play some in the 2nd half. This is definitely the worse time for Bud to be playing like garbage with T-Will waiting to shine.

Jesus Christ, you Lowry fan boys are so freaking defensive.

I am not "blaming" anyone. I stand by the statement that you win and lose as a team.

There was four possessions in a row where Lowry made very simple preventable mistakes, hence my comment.

This coming from one of the most defensive Battier "fan boys" in the BBS... oh, the irony.

T-Will probably wont see any playing time until Bud gets traded. Then Morey will have forced Adelman's hand to play him. I'd like to be proven wrong tonight though.

Are you sure? A Turnover allows the Defense to get set up and the ball gets put in play away from the basket. A bad shot that results in an offensive rebound almost always turns to transition offense, along with a fast break dunk+foul. IMHO a bad shot is way worse than a turnover.

It's the equivalent of giving the ball to Chuck Hayes on offense and making him go one on one on Dwight Howard. Wait.. we HAVE done that.. WTF

Who's he supposed to defend? First play of the game, he needed double team help guarding Donte Green in the post, and we give up a wide open 3. He's getting torched by Evans, as expected. He doesn't close out on spot up 3-point shooters. He doesn't rebound.

You can cover up for weaker defenders to some extent, but Martin is a *special* case. His defensive ineptitude is in Steve Novak territory.

Morey simply has to find some rebounding and shot blocking help,it's so sad all the second chance points and lack of rim protection!

Battier's game is just down right painful on the eye.
