ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Kings 12/15/2013

This is coaching - have to have your team prepared for anyone. A win against the Kings counts the same as a win against OKC or SA.

This team isn't good enough to coast against bad teams, yet it still does and its led to 4-5 losses that it shouldn't have. Frustrating to see the better team not put any effort,

 

Hopefully the Asik Lin trade give us additional depth. We are so thin on the wing scores department

 

Kelvin Jerome Sampson will not be a head coach in the NBA anytime soon.

 

Nah. People around here think every game against a scrub team is a trap game? A trap game is when you overlook or take a team easy because the game after that is huge. THe Rockets don't play tomorrow, and have 2 full day off before playing the bulls.

Howard just a so so game tonight. Couldn't give Rox enough tonight.

 

this team is Harden and Howard and a bunch of scrubs.

 

I wonder how our team would be doing if Dwight snubbed us and we ended up signing millsap to his 9 mil a year and another player like Mayo or Monta Or Reddick

The Kings don't have the same allure and coolness of beating, so why bother to try too hard. No respect for them.

Rudy Gay showed the world he was on Rudy Gay's level tonight

 

Don't blame the refs. The Rockets are bricking free throws, playing ISO dribble offense, allowing the Kings to get into the paint at will, and getting outhustled. They obviously have talent otherwise they never would've won in San Antonio, Portland, and Oakland. But when you look at this loss, the one at home against Phoenix, and the other ones on the road against Utah and Philly, it's obvious this group is not mentally tough.

A championship contender comes out and dominates from the opening tip. They smother the inferior team on defense and get the home crowd out of the game early. When I watch the Rockets, I get the impression they think they can just turn it on for a couple of quarters and beat anyone. The NBA doesn't work that way. Even crappy teams will hand you a loss if you half-ass it out there.

 

Brooks not playing more is inexcusable he has been the only one hitting his shots

Beat GSW lose to kings we win all the big western conference but lose to the teams at the bottom of the conference which means they off set each other we really need to get some players who can CONTRIBUTE for asik not picks
