Yes, I would have to agree, time to go back to the Pistons/Spurs type grind it out offense and defensive sets. Adelman is a coach for a long time. He should know how to run the system either way.

Well I post this question- What do you think of Morey now?- I say Morey made some horrible mistakes. The players who are the mistakes are quite obvious without me naming them. Why is it that our team is so small, with only one big man? Mutombo is on the bench and should stay there he is of course one of Moreys mistakes. The Coach needs to coach! That is the kindest thing I have to say about him!
The Refs need to set the tone by not allowing them to double team front Yao with the second guy standing in the paint for 10 seconds.If they use the defensive 3 second Rule then they couldn't use two men on Yao in the post.
I just see a lot of team laziness both on offense and defense. We have the players to play with anyone, it just takes leadership and effort, both of which we lack most nights. Of all our players, you know you can count on Battier for effort, EVERY night.
This team needs to have to have Francis start, they need him to attack the basket and make the double-teamers pay..... I am concerned about Battier. I was real big on this guy, especially his character, defense, and his 3 ball from the corner. His character is still there, his d is suspect--individually and team d, and his 3 ball is virtually nonexistant. The Roxs are next to last in the NBA(29th) in three balls This WILL NOT get it done. I am a very patient fan, and I won't give up on them....but I'm starting to feel like maybe its not meant to be. We will get better, I have NOT lost that belief........
We lost this game because (1) our defense was bad, and couldn't stop them from scoring and (2) our role players could not score, depending too much on TMac in the second half. Not sure how this team will improve, unless Coach makes some drastic change, such as starting to use Landry and Books. I thought the so-called motion office would improve the scoring of role players. I guess it does not matter whatever system we use, as long as we have role players who can't score.
F***ing todays game again it seems nobody has passion to win on court Yao has the perfect 1st half,but lost in Kings' 100 players at the 2nd half,nobody help him to jump out.it should have been Yao's Game against Kings! T-Mac seems sleeping most of all the minutes,so he should jump-shooting to open eyes,even he score 40,a few penetrations the others suck,no defense ,no score ,run like fly. We really need to do something about Rafer, Battier, and Hayes...this can't go on. I was watching the Toronto-Washington game earlier and seeing players make shots was such a joy...then watching the Rockets, I realize that we have no shooters whatsover on the team...the only time I don't cringe at a jumpshot is when Yao or Tmac takes it...that's sad...not one reliable shooter...not one...
1. Our defense coulden't be worse. They get easy layups and fast breaks on almost every possession. I wonder if coach Aldeman ever even put defense stragtegy in the team. He didn't even call timeout when our defense is teared up. 2. Through the game vs. Worriors and Kings, our weekness is obvious. We can't match up with running teams with quickness and long-range shooters. Aldeman was confident about our matchup ability at the beginning of this season, but it turns out it's one of serious problems right now. Our players are overall less athletic on the court. It's time to trade for some young players with energy and motive? 3. It's not the first time YAO complain about the league's officiating. Last season, JVG got fined for standing up for YAO. Today, YAO got fouled out with a tech. After the gambling scandle exposed after last season and so many bogus call so far on YAO, I couldn't trust the league any more. There got to make more actions to make sure NBA provides a fair justice for players from all around the world!
i'm really starting to miss JVG, i wanted him to come back and was never really too excited about RA coming in...great start in the beginning of the season, but things are just really slowing down, hopefully there will be some much needed changes in the lineup because this is really getting pretty frustrating with some of the performances by the role players and execution.
