After reading the newspapers, watching ESPN, and reading the Clutch Fans message board, Yao Ming came out very aggressive in this contest, taking the ball straight to the hoop his first 3 touches. Mr. Divac, the smooth flopper that he is, flopped all 3 times, and got the offensive foul call, thereby limiting Yao to bench action for the remaining 18 minutes of the first half.

With Yao on the bench with foul trouble, the Rockets went to the indominatable Maurice Taylor, who promptly was double teamed on the block and kept attempting jumper after jumper, getting most of them blocked. MoT in turn barked at the refs because he was being "fouled" and promptly got T'd up.

At this point, Steve tried to take over the game. Which led to Bobby Jackson entering the game and promptly going off for 12 points in the 2nd quarter. Enter Moochie, ahhhhh Moochie! Moochie dribbles the clock down and hits a 3 pointer from the parking lot with no time left in the 2nd quarter and precedes to jump on the scorer's table and announce to the crowd that he is "hot" this game.

At halftime, Jeff tells Cat and JJ to double team Peja because he is getting too many open looks. The 3rd quarter starts with Cat and JJ trapping Peja in the corner. Peja jumps sideways and flips up a shot as he is falling out of bounds. Swish! On the Rockets first posession of the 2nd half, Cato posts up on the low block. Steve, finally realizing that he is supposed to throw the entry pass, throws the ball to Cato. Turn around 6 footer follows from the offensive dynamo. Clang! Stevie, yearning to make up for his mistake, heads to the boards to get the rebound. Bibby releases to the other end. Vlade rebound, long pass clear down the ffffffffffloor to a wide open Bibby, layup. The ball bounces 8 times and the ref picks it up and holds it, waiting for one of the Rockets to get past half court and come down and inbound the ball.

Kings are now up by 31. Subs! Here comes Gerald Wallace. Rockets counter with the defensive stopper Nachbar.

wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up!!! Wait, it's all a bad dream! Boy, I'm sweating. Must be running a fever or something. That whole dream was a hallucination.

If we can get our offence in a rythm, and actualy be consistent without going on the quarter droughts, we have a chance to win this game. It all depends if our offence will show up tonight.

In the Clippers game we had 55 points in the half, and in the Jazz game we had 52 points by the end of the 4th quarter. Thats just scary.

There's a better chance of Bush turning Democrat than the Rockets winning this game tonight.

    The embarassing collapse continues:

    Rockets: 85
    Kings: 127

How are Kings on 3's?? The Jazz won mainly on a couple of 3's late in the game. Is Divac going to flop enough to foul Yao out of the game early???
Are the Kings going to double team Francis causing many turnovers??? Make sure to cover Pike, he can hit 3's.
Some of the things that can make the Rockets lose by 20+

Mike Bibby, Chrisitie, Stojakavic can all stroke the 3... heck even brad miller can hit it from out there.

I think JVG has the team ready for this one... Expect some tenacious D

kings fan here... As far as the 3 pointers , you have the right to be concerned because kings are leading the league in 3's and we have 4 excellent shotters in Stojakovic, Peeler, Bibby and Jackson so I expect a shooting clinic tonight. But to tell you the truth I am concerned about this game because rockets are a very talented club that matches on all acounts with the kings. I expect Ming to torch us on one end but I expect a big game from our guys as well. Brad MIller fits great in our system and he is tough as nails.I really expect a close game. If the rockets start turning over and let the kings run though, it might get ugly for you. Anyway I think I will enjoy this game .

Don't forget Anthony Peeler, leads the league in 3 pt%. Great addition to the kings bench and immediate spark as well

I’m expecting a better game than last game (as if they could play any worse) from all our players, especially Francis, but I don’t think it’ll be enough to win. The Kings are so tough at home and the Rockets have yet to beat a team with a winning record this season other than the Nuggets.

Lost in overtime (107:100). Yao fouled out 2 min left in regulation.
