This team has no hope with those stupid players, no matter who coach them.
I'm gonna tie the whole team into a square knot, push it down a hill and see how a cube rolls. then, I'm gonna beat them up. then I'm gonna give them a lobotomy. and if that dont' work, I'm gonna cut the dumbers' whole heads off. :D

I disagree with your statement. I don't think our backcourt distributes a lot of potential assists. In fact, it's the exact opposite. There timing of passes expecially into the post is horrible. The guards are not totally to blame but they should get most of the heat. The other side of the equation is that this team has poor off the ball movement. Who is moving into open spaces for a pass? Then again, perhaps there would be more off the ball movement if our guards actually started passing the ball.

    Overall, guards are to blame.

I swear, what I want for Christmas is that the Rockets learn how to cut to the basket consistently, and I mean on every possession they get. Well at least the Spurs lost. Man, why can't the players move around without the ball like the Kings and Lakers do.

    Man, talking about being schooled.

Tonight, it's just not only Steve. It's basically everybody! Rox needs to play more teams like the Kings to realize how much they need to learn.

The kings style and Lakers style is the way you play professional basketball.

But then I've said it couple of times, even Grizziles is a better team in terms of execution than Rox. Utah is a better team too. It proved to be true again and again.

Those so-called homers or die-hard Rockets fans, please accept it. We are not a well executed B-team. There is a long way to go when we can start executing the game well. And when it comes that we can execute the ball really well, we are a true playoff and title contender. Otherwise, just don't fool yourself that we are already where we will be.

Why keep bashing the best player in our team? At least Yao is playing better than Shaq and similar to Duncan tonight.

    Line of Shaq:
    7 points, 2-6FG, 3-9FT, 8 boards, 2 assists, 3 TOs, 2 blocks in 25 minutes. EFFICIENCY:6

    Line of Duncan:
    11 points, 3-10FG, 5-8FT, 11 boards, 2 assists, 1 TO, 2 steals, 0 blocks in 26 minutes. EFFICIENCY:15

    Line of Yao:
    14 points, 6-11FG, 2-2FT, 8 boards, 0 assists, 4 TOs, 1 block in 23 minutes. EFFICIENCY:14

Is it possible to cultivate a decent PG in the way Jerry Sloan does?

BTW, after such a painful game, it is nice that uac did provide some entertainment for everybody, and at his own cost.

On a side note, glad to see a couple teams score over a 100 today. It's good for the NBA. Now if only the Rockets could do it. Excuse me while I go back and cry about this game before I go to sleep.

Nautic, we can't cultivate a decent PG because we haven't got anyone who can play at that position.

The Kings sure are a hell of a lot of fun to watch. They get so many easy buckets just off of crisp ball movement and good active player movement. The Kings get layups like nothing and we bust our ass just to get a half decent looking shot. It's amazing. This happens every year too. Rudy, no Rudy... it just doesn't matter when you play the Kings. They are the anti-Rockets.

Yeah, it really does get annoying, but at times it can be really hilarious. I think we have the most unique fans in the NBA or at least we have the strangest relationship with our team. The Rox lose and we bash 'em like there's no tomorrow. We win and still complain (which I can understand to a point, an ugly win really doesn't give a lot of hope). This certainly is a weird era for the Rockets and their fans.
