i really dont care about the dumbalytics and ratings unlike the author of the tweet thats has dumbalytics obsession ALPI IS THE OFFENSE...everyone and their mothers know this by now, it just happened I just knew it for longer than perhaps all of you, play more tru alpi make him lead guard and jabari and jalen green and even KPJ and JC will all thrive... this is what i ve been saying for more than a year now....
This is partially correct. Alpi can be the PRIMARY function but he is not hard to shut down with a big with athleticism - so it is best to have a counter if they take out Alpi which is exactly what KPJ ISO/ATTACK is..... The teams that win can go to a variety of offensive sets.....Alpi should be number 1 option, but we need a 2nd one and that is KPJ. DD
Yes that ruined the pace of the game and it continued after the break. Glad to see you admit where youre wrong. Sengun was only -2 the entire game and Garuba who is his backup was -21 WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU?
It was not because garuba was very bad, it was because there was no one who can see the floor and run the offense as a team when alpi is out. And everybody trying to do their own thing comes back into play and that does not work naturally. When offense fails, defense fails as well because you lose all the rhythm, they score easy buckets in the transition etc. Sengun was not bad at all, but you need ball handlers. You can't just replace KPJ with KJ because he can't dribble. (That actually shows how much of a negative KPJ at the pg is, because even when he was replaced by KJ, the team was overall functioning better.) And when Sengun is out, if you don't get Nix or tyty, it is a recipe for disaster.
Exactly why sending TyTy down to G-league was so baffling. Apparently they are going to let Nix rot at the end of the bench. So there is basically no backup for KPJ. They are doing it by committee of Tate, Green, and Gordon. Another squandered opportunity for developing a promising prospect.
Is this your response to what I write? You are so narrow minded... all you think about kpj and lob thread right? You're sengun hater however much you deny it. Kpj is playing on avg 34min per game as a pg and to be exact he had 13/40 games with 7+ assists.
